All I want for Christmas is to pay the same tax rate that Patty voted for herself to pay. Like Hoffman so brilliantly implied, someone that makes a million should pay 10 times as much as someone that makes 100k.

Former Aubertine staffers love her because she votes the same way Darrel would on every issue. And conservatives forgive her because she collects toys for her district office. I guess I should be happy because this time it is a voluntary collection, unlike the tax hike tax cut from last week.
All I have to say is couldn't you pick your battle fields better? The Mayor just posted a feel good story about Christmas. Even if you sit up on a hill hating all the Ho ho ho. All you have to do is drive right by. Now when the Mayor posts a story about taxs. Holy hell....Go for it. I see to many people in the world who can't have one happy moment anymore. I felt good when I saw her helping kids. I'm sure others did. Not everything you do has to be about doom and gloom.
So yes I drink some Christmas cheer and still say good for her.
You are missing the point. The Democrats keep trying to stick it to Ritchie in hopes that they can find another sacrificial lamb like Gavin Regan they can convince to blow the family's savings on another ill-fated run against the Ritchie campaign organization. Ask Gavin how that worked out for him after he spent his wife's and mom's savings and lost many precincts 5 to 1.
Why would the democrats want to stick it to Ritchie? Name one thing that she voted for or against that a democrat would not vote the same way for? Gay marriage? Sorry, Darrel voted the same way.

There are 300 million people in the USA and a lot of them give in the Christmas season. This story was not about giving in the Christmas season, it was a gratuitous plug about just one person who happens to be a RINO NYS Senator.
I agree this is just a photo op for an incumbant just like AJR its all about them, most folks give at this time of year and dont need any photo-ops to do it, politics dictates that this is a must.
Well dar. I understand that it's about a photo. But....she was out there doing something. I think it's more about all the regular hype stupid people have around Christmas. O you are giving to those people? They don't need anything but a job. If they can't get it for their kids, why should I? Let them be put in work houses and die, thus decreasing the world population.
