Six weeks ago he was the flavor of the week in the GOP Presidential contest....Today Herman Cain is a quitter....Out of the race amid claims of sexual harassment and marital infidelity.
While Mr. Cain told supporters in Atlanta today that he will remain a force in advocating for his issues, there is no forum like that of a candidate and he is essentially done, other than to endorse a candidate...likely fellow Georgian Newt Gingrich.
The Cain candidacy was improbable but had gotten further than expected based on his outsider image and personal charm.
His personal life and his lack of foreign policy gravitas eroded his popularity and by today he had little choice...quit or be a truly marginal candidate.
As a black American....a conservative businessman.....he did not fit the orthodoxy of blacks in American politics and that likely contributed to the media skepticism towards him.....He challenged the Democratic Party hegemony over blacks and that was not lost on advocates of the way things are.
He also was incredibly naive in thinking in the rough and tumble world of politics, all this would remain private. In local races it often does, but not in a race where the stakes are this high.
Cain is gone and the race will focus more on Gingrich and Mitt Romney......

Does suspending mean the same as quitting? Remember when Ross quit only to try to get back in a few months before the election? I called that one ahead of time. Brilliant as I am.
Cain sounds dumb when he speaks. Like Bachmann, the resume is more impressive than the interviewer. Is that because they don't articulate well or because they were affirmative action poster children?
He was the wrong kind of Black. We can't have black guys who believe in hard work, don't feel sorry for themselves, and aren't looking for FreeStuff. MSM couldn't handle it. Nor should they have been expected to. We need victim Blacks. Guys like Reverend Jesse and the Reverend Al. Couple the feel sorry for themselves boys with the I feel so guilty types and you have the foundation of the Democrat party.
At least Cain didn't 'do' a babe in OUR oval office like Billie "BJ" did! Interesting that the media jackals didn't like the actual black guy but suck up big time to the non-black Mulatto President who's campaigners sort of skipped over his momma's whiteness!
It all comes down to our Presidential election being way too long (as in 4 years worth)! None of us could survive 4 years of scrutiny!

I guess you won't have that black guy to worry about, will you Dannie? FreeStuff will continue to flow to your house. Congrats. I don't really see things changing. Relax. There will be kids to screw until long after you and I are gone. And that's all that matters.
Year end prediction for 2012:
Herman Cain will continue to make more money from his gullible followers as Fox News hires him and offers him his own television show (Raising Cain?).
Ratings will be good at first, but then struggle, as Fox viewers finally began to realize he’s not nearly as smart as a 5th grader. Roger Ailes decides not to renew his contract stating: “I thought Palin was an idiot!”
Within weeks, TLC will offer him a reality show bashing women and taking up-skirt camera shots of unsuspecting Victoria Secret shoppers. Ratings will soar as Herman finds his true comfort zone.
He will continue to promote his foolhardy ‘nein, nein, nein’ plan, along with his new book -- My “Failed” Journey to the White House: A Neo-Cons Guide on How Not to Take Personal Responsibility by Blaming Every One Else. The mentally unbalanced albino Ann Coulter will write the Introduction: “Why Our Blacks Are Better Than Their Blacks.”
11:11 PM will buy several copies of the book and hand them out to friends and family -- all two of them.

Cain's problem is not that he's black or white or brown or any label you choose to hang on him and accuse others of racism ... it was his lying and deceit and weak coverup and responses that did him in ... the media did their job - now you need to grow a pair and grow up.
Oh Dannie, I would expect a man like you, with all your education and experience in the motor pool, to do better than call someone "dog sh*t". Then again yours is an education degree. I am surprised that you aren't aware of the damage such barbs could do to my self esteem.
The reason you're losing it so badly on this is you are upset about being called on your racist views. What Cain did wrong was not waiting until his wife had cancer before he had an affair. If he had, like your boy Johnny Edwards did, you wouldn't have had a problem with it. You're so predictable. I will admit. You usually don't hate blacks, unless of course they are Republicans. So there may be more to it than simple racism. It could be just plain ol' partisan stupidity.
