And speaking of judges, I just saw Mr. McClusky’s ad on TV. Assuming that plea for support is a testament of his best “judgment” I’ll be casting my vote for an alternative candidate.
I have seen two different ads for McClusky. I thought both were done tastefully and were very positive. It gets his qualifications out in a way that you will remember them. Refreshing as many politicians resort to negative ads. Even if I didn't know and respect Judge McClusky's credentials I would vote for him because of his commercials.
Two daughters being told to be home by 9...that’s credentials that qualify his candidacy for Supreme Court Justice? Seriously? I'll be sure to look for the other commericial though.
Not to put too fine point on it,but this was originally started as a plug for Judge Renzi..got his mailer today, and the kids and wife are very nice, all for family ..however,what you want in a city judge is competence, fairness, and the ability to comprehend complex situations quickly..Judge Renzi has exhibited the ability to perform in a city court that is busy and complicated, and does this every day..city Judge James Harberson served the city in much the same manner for many years,I cannot think of a reason to displace Judge Renzi as the new full time judge without a really good reason..
