Watertown's two high schools completed a sweep over the weekend...The Cyclones of Watertown High beat Ravene 36-14 in a non league game played at the Carrier Dome. On Friday, IHC had swamped Alex Bay 62-6. Now if the JETS beat Dallas next Sunday, it will be a good start to the season.

Why did the school district have to spend all that money, and rationalize spending all that money, and brag about all that money they would save, when they built the field at WHS if all they were going to do was play on other fields? Didn't the administrators tell us how they would actually make a profit by doing the artificial field here at home? Maybe SU paid them to play in Syracuse. Somehow I doubt it.
