WDT: Come On Judge, Don't Make Me Vote for That Lady from Utica

Few things look worse than a candidate for judge or DA getting dinged on issues related to campaign finance filings. Judge Merrill's a great guy, but like all the rest of us politicians and hacks, he should have registered his campaign before raising and spending....He did file his report by the right date but had not registered from day one.
Just apologize, pay the fine and promise to pay more attention next time. The good news is the term for State Supreme Court justice is 14 years so there is plenty of time to brush up on the law.

As an attorney appearing in front of Charlie for the last five or so years I can vouch that he is a nice guy. For a Judge he is not decisive, doesn't know the law and relies heavily on his law clerk. I will not be able to bring myself to pull his lever

You call him "Charlie" and then take an anonymous cheap shot, claiming some type of special inside information about his knowledge and abilities. Is he your friend? If he is, some friend. If he's not your friend, don't call him Charlie. If you are an attorney and want to talk about your opinion of his abilities, call me.

Otherwise, shut up. You add nothing to informed dialogue by staying anonymous, and make all lawyers look foolish with posts like this.

Wow....I am still voting for Judge Merrill....but if I did that, the MSM would whack me and I am not a lawyer.
Merrill and McClusky.....I am still thinking about Young and the Utica lady.
