Nobody Wants to Eat the Peas

Brinksmanship will continue over the deficit, the borrowing limit, spending and taxes.
There likely will be no grand agreement, but the President has the edge in that people like spending money and resent the rich whom Mr. Obama says do not pay enough taxes.
Meanwhile in Europe, economies are teetering and debt overseas is making many jittery.

It is hard to know who has the brinksmanship because we don't know what each side really wants.

The republican leaders have never shown that they have a desire to cut even when they were in charge.

When Obama was in charge he did not raise taxes on the rich too much even though he had both houses...and he spent in one year what Bush spent in 8 years. He even spent more...because TARP was supposed to be a loan and it was under Bush, but Obama turned it into gifts to the unions with no chance of being paid back.

Remember Naaancy, our last speaker? She wouldn't have cared how much the debt ceiling was raised. There wouldn't have even have been a meeting over something as minor as this. Raise dem taxes and spend dat money. Lie lie lie. You have to pass it to find out what's in it. Despite MSM's tantrum over this, thank God we don't have Naaancy anymore.

As usual, the government never eats peas. They eat steak, on borrowed money from China, that our kids will have to pay back, that buys your vote, every time. Dumbasses.

Washington politicians are by and large damn fools -- by there grandstanding and digging in and posturing rather than cooperating they are playing with the lives of millions of citizens here .

The USA is so far behind the 8 ball with BOTH these parties .

BTW Albany pols are even worse the worst depression ever and those damn fools are worried about appeasing gays rather than solving the economic crisis !

As the old comedian Yacov Smirnoff used to say " Vatt a country " !!
