Obama gay marriage stance in the spotlight - Julie Mason and Glenn Thrush - POLITICO.com

President Obama is in NY today to visit the troops and the gays, but not at the same time. Following his visit to Fort Drum, Mr. Obama will head to NYC for a fundraiser with gay and lesbian supporters.
The appearance is not without irony as Mr. Obama and his "evolving" position on same sex marriage will be placed in the middle of the debate and possible vote in Albany on the matter.
Will the Governor weigh in ? While in front of this core and dollar-laden constituency it will be difficult for Mr. Obama to avoid addressing marriage. It will be interesting to see what happens.

You missed one, Jeff.

The Liar in Chief ran off from Ft Drum and into a party with the gays in NYC, telling them he's still against same sex marriage but "glad the NYS legislature is talking about it". Now that's the true speak of a devoted liar. Glad they're talking about it? I wish he would work a bit more and talk more about the need to cut spending. Nahh. We're not in any real trouble yet. And besides, the campaign is underway. Why else would he raid the oil reserves AFTER the prices start to decline? Just setting up for next fall.
