At least he didn't "pork" any of them that we know about - a good sign in bad times? Maybe.

His actions were certainly not on the same level as David Vitter, Eliot Spitzer, Bill Clinton, Mark Sanford, or John Ensign, or a few others who porked around including their own staff.

Weiner done bad, for sure, and it was disgusting. I think he should go, but it's not my choice. Let the voters decide.

Bellicose...and sanctimonious rants!

I hate the guy because of his grandstanding when he said insurance companies were a "wholly owned subsidiary of the republican party".

But lying about this is why he needs to go. We cannot have someone in charge of writing tax laws that Rangels his way out of paying taxes and says he did not know any better.

And we should not have a liar liar pants on fire pontificating about healthcare.

LOOK WHOSE CALLING PEOPLE OUT ON THEIR SEX LIVES: Republicans To name a few involved in Anthony Weiner types of Sex Scandals in recent past. And please note some still want to be Republican Presidential candidates:

•Rudy Giuliani, Mayor of New York, details of an extramarital affair with his current wife helped derail his 2008 campaign for the GOP presidential nomination.
•Newt Gingrich Speaker of the House: The Georgia Republican admitted to an extramarital affair with a staffer.
•Bob Livingston, the Louisiana Republican was set to become Speaker of the House when reports of an extramarital affair forced him to resign from Congress.
•David Vitter, the Louisiana Republican has until 2010 to rehabilitate himself with voters after being listed as a client of call girl services in Washington and Louisiana.
•Larry Craig the Republican Senator from Idaho continues to deny he is gay, but decided not to seek re-election after pleading guilty to lewd conduct in an airport men’s room.
•Tom Evans, The Delaware Republican was involved in a scandal involving lobbyist Paula Parkinson trading sex for political influence. Eventually lost re-election.
•John Grunseth, the GOP candidate for Governor of Minnesota in 1990 had to quit the race just weeks before Election Day after allegations that he had swum nude with a group 13-year-old girls during a swim party at his home.
•Jim West, the anti-gay rights Republican, a former State Senate Majority Leader, allegedly molested two young boys while serving as a law enforcement officer and scoutmaster, and sought to meet men on the Internet.
•Buzz Lukens, the Ohio Republican served in jail after admitting to a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old girl.
•New Jersey Gov. James McGreever, the married Governor resigned after admitting to an affair with another man – his Homeland Security advisor.
•Bob Packward, the Oregon Republican, Chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, had to resign amidst multiple allegations of sexual harassment.

Really shocking, a New York City liberal has no moral values. I love when someone confirms every stereotype I have of them

Yes Mikey, defend by pointing to others. Do you have any idea how stupid this makes you sound? Nothing matters to you except party line loyalty. If this is your game, feel free to go with it. The man is sick, as you are if all you can see is party affiliation.

You know, Mikey, if you weren't such a dork spending your time trying to defend the Weiner, you and Dannie would do something more worthwhile. Today, we lost Stewart MacMillan, a great liberal voice who was a long term contributor to the Times and other papers. I don't think I ever agreed with anything he said, but he could write. And I don't think he ever resorted to a Google Search. Stewart was a good voice for your point of view. I'll bet Dannie could say it better than I can. Instead of mindlessly defending Weiner, Mike, defend your voices who deserve respect. You lost a good one today. Read his obit.

Everytime you make a mistatement, or try to use slander instead of logic to win an argument, good Democrates will be there to set you straight. Your days of manipulating voters in Watertown have come to a screeching halt.

Have I been able to do such a thing? And to good
"Democrates" as you say? We certainly need to put a halt to that. I would imagine Stewart would be disappointed in your efforts so far. He never really was locked in to party labels. You would have been uncomfortable. It's your security blanket.
