Renzi Soire Kicks Off Judge Campaign

The race to succeed retiring City Judge James Harberson ratcheted up a notch tonight at Pete's Restaurant as a crowd gathered in support of attorney and current assitant judge Eugene Renzi.....Judge Renzi is running against Watertown attorney Keith Caughlin for the ten year term.
While Mr.Renzi is the expected GOP nominee and Caughlin the Democrat, there likely will be primaries for the minor party lines.
Eugene is the brother of fellow lawyer David Renzi who has run for Assembly and Senate.
Judge Renzi's father is well known local physician Dr. Eugene Renzi.
UPDATE: Crowd at Pete's is enormous...Big turnout. Candidate plans to compete for Republican, Conservative and Indy lines.
Former Miss NY present, as well as many other political luminaries.

What a great, prolific family the Renzis are. Good people all around.

Those Renzi guys are ok, but those Renzi women are something else. Why is that?

I have met the Renzi brothers a few times they are good people.I would have to say the Judge is the nicer one,Dave can get get pretty pissed at times just kidding they are both great. They have been involved in the legal community for some time they know the Laws. The Judge he is replacing is a great man who I have a great deal of respect for. When I was a young man playing youth hockey Mr.Harberson would help my mom at the rink get my equipment on.I was not the easiest 6 year old kid at 6AM in the morning.I think if I was able to vote in the city I would vote for Eugene....

The crowd was HUGE and with support like that Keith is in trouble. Keith is an extremely nice guy also, but the Renzi clan has much larger tentacles and deeper roots in the community. Eugene is a good around easy going guy and should win fairly handily.

BB is a Republican. Mikey is obligated to make inaccurate and unfair statements about him because of that fact alone. Dismiss BS. Therefore, ignore Mikey. It is all about party line hatred with him.

The crowd was HUGE? Come on.... Pete's is the size of a phone booth. 40 people would make it look huge! LOL
