Come on Jeff...it is kept a secret because they have no one willing to take the job...all the democrats already make more money suckling on the government teet.
And even if they don't make more money. By the time they get close to retiring, the state bureaucracy will just steal some for them so they can have a comfortable nest egg. Witness Junie O'Neill. Most government employees have to earn their retirement. She just has hers stolen for her and dropped at her doorstep. Very neat.
