Cuomo: "Pass The Bills - Or Don't Come Home" | New York Daily News

Lets see....Tax Cap...Ethics Reform and oh yes, Gay Marriage....Those are the Governor's priorities as he launched a "people's tour" in Syracuse.....
Mr. Cuomo is not the ubiquitous TV presence some national politicians are, so when he comes out to speak there is hightened attention....
The Governor is leaning on the Legislature to get his agenda done and Mr. Cuomo had a few words with Senate Republicans whom he accused of engaging in Albany Speak.
I still say before this is all over, you will be surprised at who votes for what.....Speaker Silver will be forced to accept a tax cap and some GOP Senators will be voting for marriage equality.....

If only we could be so lucky that Patty Plate wouldn't come home.

Why has the three-men-in-a-room theory been abandoned? For some reason our lawmakers are letting this jerk act like he is dictator of the state instead of a part of our government

Interesting how the poll "How would you like Sen Ritchie to Vote on Gay Marriage?" seems to be running exactly like the national poll I spoke about read 65 percent yes and 35 percent no. Our Poll reads YES 65% and NO 34%, and I'd like to here from the ANONS who said I was pulling Poll numbers out of my imagination. Sort of like how they pull teachers salary out of combined expenses to maintain a teacher, including benefits and then call that a teacher's six figure salary. You really can trust those people! Yikes.

This governor is a dangerous dolt. No wonder Obama hand picked him and threatened Davis not to run...they are cut from the same material.

Only fools are buying into this tax cap nonsense gimmick. But what we really need is a spending cap. And most of the spending is done because of state mandates that Cuomo's party enslaves us into following. Pensions, inflated health insurance rates, prevailing wages...hell it is even cheaper to build an outhouse on the other side of our country and truck it here because of the state laws.

Plus, look at the county and city slush funds. They don't need a tax cap they need a tax reduction. But instead, the state extorts 2 million for housing.

The joke is that Carl was portrayed as the crazy one.

No Mikey, its not "sort of like" the teacher salary issue you seem fixated on. It probably does no good to try to educate you on pay and benefits being considered a package, but they are. Pay, time off, health care, retirement options, all top of the world, are part of the package lavished on teachers. Get over it my progressive but limited friend.

As far as gays and marriage. Most of us don't really care that much any more. You and yours can marry a tree for all I care. I hope you have many buds. I have a live and and let live attitude towards the issue. I do not agree with gay marriage. But I won't oppose it for others. Unlike you and your ilk, we don't place ourselves in positions of moral superiority.

Did you get your teaching job yet? We hear you've managed to get yourself on a sub list. It amazes me that the job is so underpaid and abused but is what you want so badly. You and Dannie, teachers both. I seeees a pattern of thought here. FreeStuff, provided by others.
