BHO Opted for Up Close and Personal Demise of bin Laden

Rather than opt for bombing the compound where Osama Bin Laden lived, President Obama is said to have said no to that plan in favor of a daring boots on the ground assault that would provide proof of the demise of Osama bin Laden. While more daring and dangerous, the special forces raid was far more effective and sent a more powerful message than another attack from 30,000 feet.
Instead of just suddenly being vaporized, bin Laden got to see his foe before taking a bullet to the head. Thanks to the bravery and skill of those two dozen on the ground, we got a measure of justice that is certain and appropriate.
President Obama Had Authorized Bombing of Compound in March but Wanting Evidence of OBL’s Death, Canceled It - Political Punch

Right Mr Mayor. If we had bombed his ass there would have been a generation of MSM's ready to tell us he had really undergone plastic surgery and was hiding as playmate of the month. You are right about that. Good decision by the Prez and great job by the troops.

At least Obama did not order for him to be brought back to NY city for a trial.

I hope they killed many more of those A-holes that were harboring him.
And blew the smithereens out of the place after they left from 30k feet.

This is bad PR for us Obama haters. But Bush Sr. looked great during desert storm only to get defeated, so there is still time for this accomplishment to wear off.

Will Bin Laden’s death deter Islamic radicals from taking up arms against the U.S. or the West? Will it end the absurd, intrusive Kabuki play we call airport security? Will it reimburse the Treasury for the trillions of dollars spent on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan? Will it end the “war on terror?”

No. For all the celebrations and toasts that accompanied the news of Bin Laden’s demise on Sunday night, Monday morning has brought another day in a world still struggling to deal with what he wrought.

This makes Reagan selling arms to Iran in exchange for hostage release look like child's-play. How much "aid" did we give Pakistan in the last few years? Seven billion last year and 2 billion the year before that?

I really hope this is true, and not some stunt to get the #1 vactioners poll numbers up. If its true, what a way to dispose of him. Burial at sea, thats where NYC dumps it garbage, how fitting.

Call me jaundiced, but why no evidence for the American public? Why no photos, videos?

After what this guy did to us, don't we deserve to actually see that he is, indeed, dead before getting a watery grave?

Hopefully the Seals and others involved will emerge in the press to let us know how it was done, and for us to congratulate them.

In the meantime, we are proud of our troops for their preparation, patience, courage and professional execution of this mission.

Our frontline people get it done. They are the best at what they do. I am thankful to be protected by them.

We never saw official photos of when Hussein was hung. And are we as barbaric as al qieda and bin Landen anonymous 10:24? Don't worry I'm sure the photos you want so bad will be leaked

Correct, 9:03am. "It's the economy stupid" carried Clinton to victory over Bush, Sr.

Unless things drastically improve in this Country, this accomplishment WILL quickly wear off!

That won't work this time, 2:00pm. Most of the people who love the Annointed One don't have jobs, and the ones that do are securely set in "mail them the money" type positions that won't go down for awhile. In other words, if your living off others, its easy to vote for the Great One.
