WDT: Car Dealers Growing

Cars are important in this rural area and local dealerships are doing well now that the shakeout caused by the demise of Dealmaker and manufacturer closings of small dealerships is complete. Davidson's is building two new buildings and FX Caprara has been on a building spree as well. These businesses are important cogs in the local economy and the old school operators of these dealerships have survived tight times and hopefully will prosper and provide jobs for years to come. You have to admire what Farr has built over on 342 too. That lot always catches my eye when I go by. The colors really pop and the selection of high end cars on the lot makes me drool. He has finally changed the original font which looked like it said fart because of the peculiar "r"s they used.

Yup...one of the few that has been in business and hung on while others went defunct...gotta question that business sense. And no one goes to their car-washes because they are too busy too.
