Whose Prisons Will It Be ?

A GOP prison closing plan ? Are there enough Upstate prisons in Democratic held Senate districts or will select GOP Senators be asked to fall on their sword back home....Time will tell...
Also, will any plans to close facilities in NYC pass muster ?
There is still a good chance actual closings will not be known until after a budget is approved...That's likely what the Governor wants. Keep em guessing till its too late.
If one were purely political, one would choose prisons in a district unlikely to flip under any circumstances...I am not sure Senator Ritchie is that safe a seat yet.

They have to give something to our reps to get their votes. It would be foolish for them to go along with a "to be determined" list. Of course so far Patty has let me down by fighting for the tug hill bureaucracy and sticking her nose in our county sales tax policy. So I am not thinking she will play this one right either.

She must be accustomed to the university crowd and therefor is drawn to the Tug Hill crowd. She needs to realize that those Grey Poupon types are the minority in the rest of the area and she is pandering to the wrong crowd. She is pandering to the people that voted for her opponent! Except for the surcharge on the good people that earn money by investing in our state...she got that one right and they voted for her.

We all wanted Aubertine out so bad we voted blindly and now we have the Dean Skelos bobble head doll.. She said nothing during her campaign as she is clueless. She will say nothing now as shes still clueless.. What a nice person but what a poor excuse for a Senator. OCF or Dry Hill.. Whichever it is it dosnt matter as the other is doomed within the year.... They will both be gone by early 2012
