CBS had to run a split screen today to keep carrying the NCAA game and show President Obama's remarks on Libya....
First, the fact the President is speaking during March Madness is an affront to hoopsters everywhere...Maybe his bracket went south because he didn't pick Moorehead State, but that doesn't mean there are not others interested in the playoffs.
What he had to say about Libya wasn't worth the airtime...."Our cause is just.".....Like we haven't heard that bromide before.

Obuma just issued his 23rd threat to Quackduffy today, telling the Libyan madman that if he didn't stop murdering his countrymen he would send Mz Clinton over to sit down and talk with him. It was the strongest message yet that the Annointed One really truly meant bidness, this time. Probably.
Mikey, I know how much this issue mattered to you. You must be comforted by this 23rd warning. I'm glad about it too.

Obuma has been talking about this and doing nothing forever. Why get involved now. It took the FRENCH to do something. This is an America I never thought I'd see. But this is exactly how he handled the need for reinforcements in Afghanistan. Couldn't make up his mind. Should have bribed Guduffy with some Free Stuff. That always works. Here and abroad.
Burning trucks and tanks and dead Quadaaffi people littering the roadway for hindered miles up to Bengasi, point to a major reversal in lybis and it will be anti Quadaaffi forces storming Tripoli in a few weeks time. Brave pilots and brave civilians will make good on bring Col. out of power. Tactically correct and Quadaaffi won't effectively supply his minions or keep their loyalty for even a short period. Troops in the desert need water more than petrol, Quadaaffi troops aren't going to be trucked any supplies and will soon start switching sides in droves to the rebel forces. As a side bar, General Patton would like to piss on what we call the CIA and Pentagon Strategic assessments. It’s time their fired or shot or jailed, but get them the hell out of earshot of the President. Cowards and losers as whole, but fatally they lack any smarts and shouldn’t be given the time of day by the President of important matters that effect countries struggle towards self-determination.
