The other night at Pete's I saw Scott Gray and used the occasion to place an annual order for flowers for my Mom's birthday which is March 24. I like using Gray's because Scott can use his PDA to place the order right there....Makes you feel like an important client.
They were supposed to be delivered the 22nd, but I got a call today from Mom thanking me for the beautiful flowers. I told Scott and he immediately told me another bouquet would be dispatched at the right time.
Then when I called Mom to say another bouquet was coming, she told me the NC florist had already come back to apologize and offer more flowers on the right date...Clearly the Wrath of Gray had spread to the Tarheel State. In any event, she gets flowers for the whole month and that's the value you get at Gray's Flowers !

is the title of this posting another example of tongue and cheek commentary? At first I thought it was a typo. Then I thought nope, it is intentional, and then I thought even you could not be that cruel.
I've always had great experiences with the service of Gray's too.
Gray rights...hilarious. Within the framework of the famous American play "Our Town" in which the main character Emily asks (after she has passed on), I must ask this question, Mayor Graham, "Does anyone really appreciate you?"
Lest anyone take my last post the wrong way, perhaps I should have more specifically asked, "Does anyone really appreciate your awesome sense of humor?" OK. That's better.
I was deeply offended at the joke offered by the Mayor. This is why he is a threat to us all, and has to be stopped, in our lifetime, before he becomes too powerful.
