Albany Waits to Meet Its Millionaires

In Albany today, the wait is on for the seven state employees who won a massive $319M lottery jackpot to come forward....Those not so fortunate to win the Lottery were busy at the Capitol, lobbying for more money, even though a budget deal had been announced the night before.... Listening to the whiners, you would think all these groups had lost crippling amounts of money....Folks the cut in aid was TWO percent....Two...T..W....O... If that can't be made up through efficiencies, then the people administering the money should be looking for other jobs...but they won't.... I thought that too. With all the crying and foolishness coming from media, all this was about was a 2% cut. Not enough to really change things. A small down payment perhaps. Nothing more. Now let's hear about the pain and suffering.

C'mon WDT and Channel 7. Let's have some stories about how bad its gonna be. 2%. My God what will we do? Scotty. Have you asked the wife how she's gonna get by? Mr Johnson. What are all those writers going to talk about? A 2% cut just doesn't have the ring you thought it would. Not to normal people.
