Michelle Obama Goes Skiing in Colorado

While her husband is siding with labor in the Wisconsin dispute, the First Lady and her daughters are at a swanky resort in Vail for some skiing. The Bidens are in the Florida Keys. Why aren't they standing at the side of those fighting for working families?

Mayor, the President made it clear that he saw a pattern of Union busting taking place in various locals like Madison, Wisconsin and didn't approve of it as a way to get a State’s budget balanced. Pres. Obama won't let this go and you guys are going to make it easy for him to get re-elected in 2012. You people are a real brain trust that just keeps giving and in the end you’re going to suffer one heck of a reversal of fortune at the poles. People want fairness and justice, and an economic program that seeks to impovrish them provides neither Mayor Graham.

The Republican Right is trying to eliminate the Middle Class in America:

On Feb 1st 2011, I wrote on the Mayor’s blog that: A Middle-Class Revolution of far reaching implications, inspired by a 21st technology, Facebook, may have far reaching implications to every government on planet earth. Even in the United States one has to note that the ability to network and broker opinion to advocate for political changes that insure fairness to Middle and Working Class families is now on the table.

It would be wise for the Political establishment of this Country to get the message out, that political unrest is not limited to foreign venues and could if conditions determine a radical solution for everyday Americans. Civil disobedience here in large numbers could take place, as a way to insure fairness in government to all our citizenry. We all have a stake in the economy of America and the government has to stop acting like the people who pay taxes in the Middle and Working classes are minor players in the American dream.

In just two week’s time: the head of the AFSCME International President, Gerald Mcentee spoke to a crowd of 15,000 people, five days ago in Madison, Wisconsin and said, "In Wisconsin we're smart enough to know the truth. We know what this is all about. It's about breaking the back of the middle class," The people, Union and Non-Union alike let out a roar that will be heard around America for labor and the right to collective bargaining.

The pace of the political drama’s unfolding around the World, in places like the Middle East and America are breath taking in their implications to the stability of all nations here on our small planet. The era of budget cuts in America, after the great ‘Wall Street’ rip off, is now where it should have been all along on the Middle Class front burner. The Middle-Class is trying to hold onto its wallet, while Government tries to pick it clean of the few bucks left in it to support their families. Don’t let them.

Support Unionism and the right to hold on to ‘Collective Bargaining,’ the Union struggle for justice and fair wages is our fight. Don’t be fooled, we can’t go it alone, we need organized labor as never before to fight our fight, “Fair and decent wages for the Workers of America.”

Mike, I see we're back to another collection of google searches. Very appropriate, as your thoughts center on those packaged for you by others. What a beautiful age we live in, when the repetition of such preformed opinion is made so easy. Its a form of fake intelligence, isn't it? To a lot of people it looks really neeet.

Bottom line, Mike. The day when lavashing wage and benefit packages on government employees, teachers in particular, are coming to an end. You can foam all you want about the middle class and all that. But these teachers are hardly middle class. Most are doing very, very well. I'm goint to assume you know that so won't bore you with details. There has to be a correction in the imbalance we have created. Mikey, there is no more money. We can talk it back and for all you'd like this week. All the teachers are in the Bahamas. This is winter break. Aren't all middle class people able to fly out for a week of vacation? If you can get your job, you'll be able to next year.

Anon 12:44 Your just totally mixed up, Google what? Nothing in the above, was written by anyone but yours truely. So try writing something yourself if you dislike what I write I could understand that, but why is it you talk at me instead of to me. Get something down on paper and have the guts to put your name on it.

You've already been given the sites, the authors, and the dates.
I already posted the specifics. You hid for awhile, and now you've gone into denial mode. That's fine.

It changes nothing. We can no longer afford to heap money on an educational system that does not produce. We can no longer afford to lie and call these people underpaid. There's no more money, Mikey. Along with health/welfare, education is the biggest piece of the pie. It has to accept some of the cuts. Depite your packaged statements, it never has before.

One last thing. "Poles" are from Poland. Dannie likes to keep us honest on that one.
