Harsh weather is due our way in the next day or so as a major winter storm barrels through the Midwest....Whether it's the "storm of the century" trumpeted by the media, I will leave to posterity to judge.
Travel on Wednesday is supposed to be difficult and extreme caution is advised...Take extra time, go slow or just stay put.....
But if you can make a buck off the storm...have at it !

The Mayor asked, "what would it take to have Egypt-style roting in the streets of Watertown, NY" on the Hotline radio show today.
My guess is not much. We're nearly there. If the Tea Party and Teapublicans have their way with dismantling the FDR-LBJ New Deal-Great Society, has its way with continuing on trampling the already downtrodden, well... I suspect and expect we'll see rioting before the 2012 elections.
Gee, it's the northern hemishere. It's winter. It snows. Big deal. Everytime it snows, the media acts like life as we know it is going to end. "And this is your intrepid reporter, Westly Dimbulb here. I don't ever remember the north country getting this much snow and we just don't know if the residents of N.Y. can possibly survive this disater!"
