Prohibition came to an end on this day in 1933 with the ratification of the 21st Amendment, which repealed the 18th Amendment.
For those of us who make a living off the legal sale of the Devil's Brew this is a significant holiday, at least worthy of its own website.
Repeal Day is December Fifth

Celebration is indeed in order. But maybe an extra big celebration for those who sell for off premise consumption. After they reinstated prohibition for those under 21, all of those customers were forced into covert consumption and out of the bars, Must of been a little boon for the off premise crowd don't you think? If not enough of a boon then maybe prohibition of tobacco helped.
one thing is for sure...there are still a lot of smokers and kids drink as much as they ever did.
