WDT: Patty Pounds AEG Scandal....Darrel Says 'Look at Me, not Them'

The Republicans have as expected latched onto the NYS Inspector General's report critical of Senate leadership's handling of a video lottery terminal bidding process at Aqueduct Race Track in NYC. Meanwhile Senator Aubertine told a radio audience on the HOTLINE today that he should be judged on his own accomplishments and that the activities of downstate politicians are essentially matters between them and their constituents.
The close race in SD 48 hinges on pinning Senate dysfunction on Mr. Aubertine. In other words making the race one of Patty Ritchie vs Pedro Espada.
Mr. Aubertine accused the GOP of fielding a candidate without the depth of knowledge to function and says Mrs. Ritchie is a facade candidacy.
A Siena College poll on the race will come out Saturday and that will set the tone for the final 72 hours.
unflattering inspector general's report

Patty Ritchie hasnt a mean bone in her body. She would never make statements like that. But she did. She certainly is being led around and told what to do... I cant believe this.. She just lost my vote the minute I read you blog..

Get em Patty lets go baby I can smell the victory in the air.He can no longer play the nice guy role....

I cant believe Ms. Ritchie with her head stuck up Palidinos ass and hand controlled by Skelos would even make an attempt to pursuade people that she has the inteligence to be our Senator. If she wins I fully intend to keep pointint out her voting record and who in particular she votes with..I cant believe that this person is seriously being considered to elect but its happening. God I hope people come to their senses

Actually Darrel is clueless. Has no idea what conflict of interest means. Has no idea that anyone other than himself lives in CV.

It's disturbing how Aubertine either doesnt understand or acknowledge that it is conflict of interest for officials with wind contract to vote on wind turbines. You can hear a bit of contempt in the interviewer's voice when he says "moving on."

Ethics need to be the highest priority when we decide who to vote for.

Hey 300...I don't sell cars although I have and I do have a business that has succeeded for 25 years...
What do you do for a living thats so much more repectable ?

That is why Darrel thinks he is ethical. He does not understand what ethics are. Look at his home town.
Those are his kind of people. The kind the AG are looking at. A person under investigation for stealing more than twenty thou even has a sign her yard for Aubertine.

Wow 515 you are a moron, and spew BS. Just because you put it in writing doesn't make it true. You people that write completely made up sh!t are pure garbage.

Truth be told Neither of these candidates deserves OUR SUPPORT. One hids behind her Skelos .Libous / playbook and will be putty in their manipulative hands the Other has led us down the garden path .

Hell of a choice n'est pas ? Kinda like choosing between cancer or a heart attack .

The difference is Darrel position as a Democratic Senator empowers the NYC Democrats. Guess what, NYC agenda is not even close to NNY.
Before Darrel Loses I would like to thank him for:
- Pushing a wind program down his hometown's throat so he could benefit.
- Voting to move inmate population to NYC so they get more representation.
- Raising my taxes and increasing the state budget many years in a row.
- Voting for Espada as Majority Leader.
- Hiring his sister right after voting for the ethics bill (should of read it).
-Running a very dirty campaign.

Now more than ever before, the people are responsible for the character of their Congress. If that body be ignorant, reckless, and corrupt, it is because the people tolerate ignorance, recklessness and corruption. If it be intelligent, brave and pure, it is because the people demand these high qualities to represent them in the national legislature...

Darrell is so dumb. One of the people in his advertisements is a public official who is listed as having a conflict of interest with Darrel's wind company. The good has no sense of ethics.

I thought the program was informative but I don't buy what he's selling, how can we be broke yet hand out 500K to Pulaski, 200K to the CC, another 200K to Hospice whose building a facility without bidding it out seems odd to me.

544 calls another poster a moron which is completely out of line. 544 should provide the evidence that 515 is wrong. Bob Johnson and the rest make good arguments.

Darrel helped bridge the 9 billion dollar budget deficit by cutting a programs that he could easily have ignored should be cut for the good of the NYS. When he fought to get funding (34 mil) for Mercy it was among other things to keep patients local it was really in many cases the sensible thing to do in order to avoid, penny wise pound foolish mistakes. In health care for example if you stop people from going to the emergency room like Pattie wanted, if they lack coverage but are sick, you're being inhumane and pound foolish. Sooner or later you'll have some type of expensive Clinics set up all over to see and treat te same people who are still just as sick. That's what I mean when I say Pattie will talk, or act in Albany before she thinks it through. We have a winner in Darrel and we'd be hurting if we lost him as our Senator.

She is talking about the narcotic seaking people who abuse the ER not people who have real issues.

Middle-Class Mike said...

Not so! Her term was habitual users of ER, who frankly are very often rushing their child in for treatment, from fever to true emergencis. I honestly didn't realize a lot of people needed an ER for that myself until recently it was explained to me. Don't get me wrong people do drug seek there too in terms of going into withdrawal or DT's. If they don't get help there, they'll need it elsewhere anyway so that why soone or later Clinics wouldpop up everywhere and a new system would have to be funded.

Juston's Take On Government said...

Mike doctors need to treat people right at there practice there for, people would not have to use the ER that much.I do agree with Mr.Aubertine on this issue to a point I do beleive he did a good job for mercy I have a problem with the team that he has to line up with, other wise he would be the first Dem that I would vote for Patty is a good person also this ones a tough one for a slick good looking guy like myself....

Middle-Class Mike said...

Juston I agree, its illogical, but talk to some ER nurses about who uses the ER's habitually and it ill surprise you. Pseople would rather go there at night for -- if you can believe this -- asprin. DAH! Asprin, like go to corner drug store. Nah, they go to ER for Asprin. I find this remarkable myself.

Hey MMM you mention funding to Mercy by Aubertine, 2 things here, If the state is broke where do we come up with this money to "save" this and that, and if you listened to Aubertine on the radio he implied Mercy would be better off as something else, he mentioned "office space" so did he save Mercy? Meanwhile back at the ranch the County is using 5million to create another nursing home complex, I'll have up now and listen for the answer.

Anonymous said...

Well Mikey, I'm sure the aspirin at the ER problem will be taken care of by Obamacare.

Anonymous said...

MMM you can't have it both ways save something and do away with it at a later date. Anyways there just bribing us with our own money.

Anon 7:38 right now we can thank her for:
A. Making MVO and the clerk's office more accessible.
B. Bring in Millions of dollars to the county helping with taxes.
C. Standing up against the Gov. to issue new plates.
D. Over 5000 petitions to keep OCF open.
E. Last but not least GETTING RID OF AUBERTINE the NYC enabler, BFW scammer, tax raiser, inmate pop. moved to NYC. Not enough space for the rest.
Give her a couple years in the Senate and the list would be longer.
