Not since witches were burned at the stake has there been such media interest in witchcraft as there is in the Delaware Senate race where Christine O'Donnell has had to disavow a decade old statement about dabbling in witchcraft as a teen.
The MSM and their entertainment cohorts are in full court press to defeat the 41year old single, childless lawyer who had trouble paying off student loans and once had a home once in foreclosure.

The "MSM" is picking on her because she's an easy target, perfect for parody, not because she's a political threat. With Delaware being two-thirds Democrat, she doesn't have a snowball's chance in Hell of winning, "MSM" involvement or not.

Anything anyone else has said doesn't make O'Donnell's comments about evolution less dumb.
I especially like the clip of her comments, when the audience groans, everybody rolls their eyes and the actor on the panel has to tell her that evolution "takes a long time".

It's not so much the witch thing. It's just the easiest to poke fun at. No, it's not the witch thng, it's that she is one of - if not THE - dumbest of bunnies on the campaign trail this cycle, and the prototypical Teabagger: Flat Earth, Libruls bad, Obama = Socialism, the ususal bull$h!t. SNL, by picking on O'Donnell, is really picking on the entire "movement."
Look at the current state of our Federal and State governments, tell me people , who are the real dummies and jack-asses? People want change, but when change may come along, we ridicule the candidates , who may make a statement, and keep thier hands on the poker table, as opposed to those who do under the table dealings. I would love to see Carl Paladino, go to Albany; he would probably need to bats, in case one breaks.
Mayor You always decry "identity politics" yet you throw out the old feminism line in her defense. She would be just as easily ridiculed if she were a man, because of the idiotic things she says. She is a political grifter, living off the suckers that give to her campaign. It is not a male/female issue and to insinuate that all women should support her regardless of what she says is patronizing.
