Beware the Humble Family Phone This Weekend

Get ready to beware your telephone this weekend...Everybody is calling everybody mostly with robo-calls. With the practice so pervasive, I don't know how effective it is. However, consultants have their tool box of ways to spend it all before election day and this is one way to do it.
Direct mail is the other overdone commodity as technology allows for the printing, sorting and mailing of a gazillion pieces to targeted demographics at the blink of an eye.
There will be hand wringing and carping over these tactics but they will end Tuesday. For this year.

The tea party's volatile influence on this year's election appears to be doing more harm than good for Republicans' chances in some of the closest races in the nation, in which little-known candidates who upset the establishment with primary wins are now stumbling in the campaign's final days.

Those 'Tea-Buggers,' are going to derail Matt Doheny's campaign yet.
They've been so silent lately I was thinking Mr. Doheny must have muzzled Mark Barie, Ruff, Ruff!
It's futile Matt, you don't have the strenght to keep the Mic out of this guys hands, settle down and have brooskie or five. The Mark Barie, three ring circus is about to get under way. And now in the center ring let m draw your attention toooooo M... .....!

ny 23 is justaboutthisclose.

new siena poll today has it owens 40, doheny 37, hoffman 15.

but when told that hoffman has suspended, the numbers change to owens and doheny at 42, hoffman 4.

either way, doug will be a factor, and becomes this year's dede (although he did not change stripes like dede did).

the final days will be delicious.

Prevent those calls on election night, getout and vote. Poll watchers will be running wild looking for the final vote.

Has Owens/Pelosi promised you a job, Mikey? It's the least they can do. You've worked hard. You've been pretty much dismissed as a clown but you're a hard working clown.

Didja see today's news about those Buffalo teachers getting new breasts on their health insurance? Great deal. Most of us couldn't do that as it is elective surgery. But I can see where having good breasts is important to an educator having to stand in front of a middle school class all day. Are you set on that, Mikey, or can we expect to enhance you once you get on the NYSUT list?

I might be a clown until the vote comes in, but then I'll be a difference maker. :)
