Owens Loves Boehner

Congressman Bill Owens loves Rep. John Boehner of Ohio....Or so it seems from listening to Owens latest ads....In an effort to ward off the pox of Nancy Pelosi, Mr. Owens is bragging about how many times he has voted with the GOP Minority Leader.
Meanwhile voters can decide if they want the Republican Matt Doheny or do they want GOP Lite in Bill Owens...Only problem is Mr. Owens voted for Democratic proposals like ObamaCare...That is not part of the 63% he voted with Boehner on....But who's counting....

Mayor why not just come out for Matt Doheny. That way you'll be free to say why you're a Doheny supporter? You know the way you were a Carl Paladino supporter until that became a silly miscalculation. Rep Bill Owens is attempting to work effectively in Congress and show NNY voters by his voting record how he can work in bipartisan fashion in Congress with all members of Congress for the betterment of the Country and NY23. I mean isn't the ability to work effectively, the most important asset any Rep in Congress can have in a gridlocked Congress? I'd like to here how the Republican approach of turning the Dem's off and just saying No! I'd to hear what has you so impressed with Matt Downy these days. I kno he grew up in Alex Bay but the guy is Wall Street tainted and beholden to NYC, everything you hate. Whats the attraction?
He sure not working for the middle-class.

Matt Dohney is from Jefferson County. And that's enough for the mayor.

So I guess its Matt Doheny and Juston mania, personality assasination, never getting the facts right and being proud of it that you think impresses us. Sorry Juston, you just don't have what it takes ... Try putting an idea down and persuade us with your smarts, instead of this slobbering and acting up routine.

I am fascinated by the anti-intelligence displayed in the comments here. Graham knocks education all the time, like he's a Defender of the Common Man; read his post about debates at JCC-who SHOULD moderate those debates, a selection of barstool cowboys? First there's a complaint that Owens hides behind Pelosi, then the complaint that he is insincere about his voting record. Has anyone actually tracked his voting record? I am voting for Owens because he has the ability to get things done by getting along with people. Not by grizzling up all the time.

Owens knows he is in trouble and will be throwing everything and anything against the political wall to see if it will stick. Owens is toast!

I tracked Owens voting record as he bolted off to be sworn in and vote for Nancy's Obama care, while knowing that the vast majority of us were opposed to it.

And now he will pay dearly for that stupid selfish vote.

Graham has already come out and said he supported Doheny. So what? His opinion is not very partisan here. Owens claiming to vote with the GOP is laughable and that is undeniable. Don't they do focus groups before they run these things?

Well, we've had a Republican controlled government for several years, and a Democrat controlled government for several years. Can't see that either one has distingished themsevles in any way execpt for their gross incompetence. Seems to me that a gridlocked government isn't such a bad idea. At least with gridlock they can't do any more damage and we can get on with our lives and be left the he%$ alone!

For those having difficulty interpreting the ad's message, it seeks to convey that Bill Owens is a thoughtful moderate who seeks to protect the interests of the middle class and the elderly from the more extreme Doheny position which embraces the callous indifference of the powerful and the privileged toward the working class

8:23,
Can you rephrase that Mr. spin-doctor? Using words that can actually be pegged down with some sort of consensus on the meaning, instead of vague subjective words that cover the entire political spectrum, depending on the reader.

Truth is...no one is having difficulty interpreting the ad's message. Probably it is only you that has no concept of "value weighted statistics". The rest of the audience is laughing at the attempted insult to their intelligence.

So for you...let me explain:
If you vote yes on 37 bills and one is the healthscare bill that costs a gazillion billion zillion dollars but you vote no on 63 bills that amount to a few billion...
you still suck.

You don't "moderately" suck...you extremely suck.
Understand?

Bragging about the number of votes you cast along side and for John Boehner could lose Owens some DEMS votes.

Not a good move, I think.

Dan is right. Who is this idiot who runs on the Democratic line but claims to be a Republican voter? Why would anyone, on either side, want to vote for a guy who has no convictions at all? I'm busy kissing Nancy Pelosi's plastic ass but I really vote Elephant most of the time? Talk about a plastic candidate, and a plastic man. The only thing I've seen that he believes in is borrowing. That, and doing what he is told. The man is a disgrace.

Dan is not right.
He is never right.
Who the hell are the libtards going to vote for if not Owens?
Some of them might not like that Nancy allowed him to vote with the republicans a few times.
But they have no choice but to vote for him anyway.

Well now, Dan has been right, from time to time.

But to vote for Owens/Pelosi is hard to justify.
