When it comes to jobs lost, people lost, futures lost, hope lost, we are always in the top. Why is that? You think NY is just part of national trend? Sorry, but we're a leader in overtaxing and overspending. And yes, the state budget did cause OUR recession. Our recession always starts earlier, ends later, and seems to go on forever. But we like it that way. Our votes have been carefully bought.

Golisono alone, left the state last year as a resident and brought all our average incomes down. That's a nice children wing down at upstate we have him to thank for. guess we wont see anymore of his money thanks to raising the taxes on the millionaires...the ones that stayed in our state that is.
I really, really, really have to ask the Mayor for a day to burn my 'Republican Party Registration Cards. I read you all and can't feel the juice to get things done. Bill Owens, knows that people in NY 23rd need leadership and support to get out of the rut you Republicans left us in, while Wall Street and its CEO's paid themselves hundreds of millions of dollars. I hear tell that Matt Doheny made a few bucks during this economic crisis, as well as, the whole Goldman Sachs crowd including Hanl Paul-son.
Mikey will make a great teacher. He has no concept of anything this country was built on. Blame others, class warfare, hatred and mistrust of work and capitalism, that be our Mikey. My God he could be a NYSUT representative if no teachin' gig comes through. Can you imagine him in front of a classroom full of impressionable youngsters, teaching them the value of getting other people's stuff? Far too many people think this way. They're entitled. What's yours is mine, and if it ain't, it's because you had unfair advantages. Never mind that I skipped school, made babies, drank, drugged, smoked dope, and made more babies while you worked at night to go to school. Or just plain worked hard. This state is full of people, like Mikey, who think government is the answer. Now so many have jobs in government they form an advocacy group all their own. That's just the start of something better, getting Albany to repeal the 83 regressive Taxes,on things like Tobacco and Soda, etc. which they passed this Year in Albany. Adjust the property taxes to 1990 levels/rates for homeowners and then see what Middle-Class spending can do to get the State back on its feet economically. Notice I haven't even moved up to the Federal level yet, but I tell you now we'll balance our books, generate sales for small biz, and be ready to tackle the rebulding of NYS, and be able to actively compete for companies who want a Middle-Class with the money to spend on their products. Tax breaks for Companies that hire NYS people in large numbers managed out of DC and Albany. DC talking to Albany and Albany talking back to DC about merit projects that help the Counntry and the State of New York. This wll attract new businesses! Any company investing in us, will se NYS in turn invest in them; with infastucture, and lower taxes. Reciprosity and trust as judged through the actions of businesses who work and thrive in NYS, because of a committed work force making a good wage. Smart Gov't and Smart business. The Democratic party is your best shot at arriving towards these goals, a revived economy and a quality of life that will be the envy of the nation. Yes WE THINK, as a party and as citizens of the greatest State in the Union. The State of New York. Were Democrates think for themselves and contribute to the whole; the whole being our people, State and Country.
