Koch’s Posters

Robocalls, posters and possibly a visit to the district as former NYC Mayor Ed Koch gives the full monte to his enemies like Assemblywoman Addie Russell. Hizzoner is showing energy for an 85 year old, but Mr. Koch seems serious about taking out lawmakers who wouldn't sign his pledge.
In the 118th the former Democratic mayor is backing Republican Dave Forsythe.
A visit by Koch will have more effect than other celebrity endorsers as the Mayor has the gravitas and stature to command coverage by the jaded MSM.

Forsythe is grabbing at straws by trying to attach to this gentleman. Very popular in NYC as mayor.. Remember the GOP hates NYC and its politicans.. Oh I see hes ok. Hes a good guy

Hey Annon 5:34 - I could give a flying sh$t about Forsythe or Russell! What I CARE ABOUT is any friggin' politician who is spending my hard-earned tax dollars like it is monopoly money. That said, I applaud Mayor Koch or ANY OTHER PERSON who is standing up and saying ENOUGH IS ENOUGH !!!!! Got it! Good!

Rick.. Your are an idiot and so is the person you complimented. Koch is a good guy. He run NYC for years. For years he pressured the Government for every advantage for NYC over us. For years he lobbied the Federal government for send everything to them for NYC and not us.. Ed Koch is a good guy looking out for the North Country as he always did right.. He dosnt like Addie because she wont sign a phony pledge that dosnt mean nothing and unenforceable.. But Ed Koch is a good guy.. He probably has Forsythes name written on the back of his hand to remember it
Forsythe is pathetic if he has signed any pledge from a person who has put NYC first all of his life;

Here is my take Annon 7:10 - I don't know Rick and the others but what I am taking from this is that maybe, just maybe Koch is just as fed up with the Albany BS as we are. And, moreover, maybe, just maybe, Koch has possibly experienced that what is good for the state (state-wide) is good for New York City. Frankly, I could care less if he has Forsythe's or any other legislator's name scribled on the back of his hand as long as he's pointing out all of the state-wide politicians who feel they need to tax and spend this state into oblivion!

Russell won't sign the reform pledge, which would be fine if she'ld propose an alternative. But she hasnt, has she? I guess Addie is content with the status quo.

If you're not part of the solution Addie, you're part of the problem. Addie, you're part of the probem

I heard the green candidate today.
Duff was right for a change and said he sounded like the liberal candidate.
Okay Duff was wrong because he sounded like the communist candidate not the liberal.
and Russell sounded just like him when she was on too.
She called herself moderate and Graham objected, but caved too easily instead of calling her out.

Mr Forsythe didn't "attach" to Koch, it was Mayor Koch who identified Addie Jenne Russell for what she is. 5:34, you need to rethink things. If people want to do a party line thing and support the same old, do so. But AJR is nothing but a follower who believes government is simply a mechanism to throw money at things. If you haven't had enough of that, then so be it.

919.. Your such a bright ass arnt you.. What was in the pledge?. What did it say? Was it binding? Possibly was it hot air? Forsythe signed it probably.. Of course he did Hes looking for anyway he can to win. He will soon have some eight five year old ideas..

So, we're supposed to vote for a woman who never saw an expenditure she didn't like, a tax she didn't support, a Thug Silver idea she didn't love? She is exactly what is wrong with NYS. I say it's time to give someone new a chance. We know what she's about. Absolutely nothing but status quo, and kissing Silver's ring.

AJR loves going to Albany, started there at an early age, she loves it her ambitions will be filled by the taxpayers.

Forsythe wants to go to ALbany. He wants to start there at an early age. He ran for County Legislature three years ago and won. Since then he has done nothing. His answer to everything is no.. When questioned he hides behind I,m in the minority.. If he goes to Albany he can still hide behind I,m in the minority..
He was on the negotiating team that brought a contract back for full board approval as he endorced it at the table with the union.. Once back in chambers with the full board he seen they were against it so he changed his vote to negative.. You talk about Addie Russell look at his record..
The only real issue in CAnton is the fact the unions wont cave in to a percentage raise in health coverage. They have agreed to raise the amount they deduct considerably but Forsythe and the County wont budge either they want a percentage that they (the County) determines. This is what Forsythe has accomplished nothing.

The disgruntled county employee is back. Go out and get into the real world and see all the job opportunities that exist. If you do not work for the gov't in some form you struggle to make ends meet.If you are so unhappy with your raise or by all means having to contribute to your health insurance there are all sorts of good paying jobs out there.Just be glad you got a job.

and your are right 8:40, he does say no... TO RAISING TAXES. you really want your taxes raised? higher sales tax? higher property tax? but at the same time increasing spending on wasteful programs. good for dave for voting no on raising taxes!! cut some spending!!

rick aldrich said...

7:10 ; you missed the boat ,period. You are obviously stuck somewhere between more taxing and spending, and not quite sure how to go about squeezing more from the people. But, thanks for the compliment, at least now I know what I am,for speaking out against tax and spend.

So the disgruntled St. Lawrence County employee wants a raise while the rest of the county crashes and burns. Makes "Cents" to me!
