You know its a bizarre race for US Senate when you have to start your latest commercial by declaring "I am not a witch."
That's what Delaware's Christine O'Donnell is doing as she tries to fight back a national media full court press to defeat her.
Ms. O'Donnell has debuted an "I am You" theme in her latest advertising. She is trying to win the Senate seat in blue Delaware and it won't be easy as bitter establishment Republicans are sitting on their hands after the "witch" defeated career RINO Michael Castle.
Christine O'Donnell did a lot of talk shows as a social activist in the 90s...She is paying a price for her adept use of the media age as those snippets are being dredged up.
It's funny that the mostly agnostic secular humanist left is acknowledging the existence of witchcraft or any religion....She is a fresh face and would be a good addition to the Senate. Let's hope she overcomes the chattering class and wins.

Maybe if she said she dabbled in Islam the MSM would say it is no ones business and cannot be scrutinized.
Missing the point again. She's the little miss holier than thou christian. Dabbling in witchcraft shows her hypocrisy and instablity. This a problem for the right, not the left.
Mayor, you are off your rocker. A good addition to the senate???
"....She is a fresh face and would be a good addition to the Senate."
Bwahahahaaa...good one! Mayor you should really consider comedy as a second vocation. But seriously-she's not even qualified to serve on our city council.
Considering the mess we are currently dealing with in D.C. right now, a little witchcraft might not be such a bad idea. I kinda like the idea of turning everyone in the current adminisration into toads.
No 9:26, it is you that is missing the point
And making up facts to boot.
Everyone on the left and the MSM knows that sex, religion and race are off limits,
unless there is a chance to attack the right on those grounds.
Here we have a bona fide religion, whose members are ironically mostly members of the left, and a candidate being mocked for dabbling with it. Hypocritically, every day they conveniently forget to mention Islam or Muslim when they report on terrorism.
I am not aware of anyone claiming to be holier than thou…please post a link or quit making crap up. On the contrary, Christians recognize human original sin and fallibility and are directed to forgive. It is not a problem for the right…they will forgive her. It is a problem for the left, because the MSM is mocking them and their earth religion.
But the 800# simian in the room is that this weak candidate was chosen because the left is soooooooo far left. Yet the media tries to portray the right as being the extreme. Even though Bush did not end stem cell research funding, he ended funding for destroying new embryos…big difference. And the only abortion restrictions he tampered with were partial birth abortions.
Right now qualifications are very minimal for any elected office...be in favor of quit spending and quit growing government and you are qualified...pretty much vote against everything Obama/Nancy. She can do that!
CBS led with the witch line on their evening news. Media is again showing how much they are in the tank.
Mayor, I guwess these people are what you call PSYCHIC -A TEABUGGER,
but you are so right on tis. And if its not the Mayor, your so right on this. CBS is not in the tank here, Why would you tank for the obvious truth, this is a child without the background to hold office. O'Donnell in the Senate, lets not be silly here. How come Republicans like talking family values, then chase hookers and DABBLE, in satanic rituals.
Can average people still promulgate the virtues of eating healthy even if they have eaten cake before?
The bigger question is why the left talks about not discriminating or mocking people for being different and yet wants to make an issue of this adolescent indiscretion, and thereby berate wicca.
Where is their focus on Obama and his Islam influence? Glossed over and largely ignored. only recently covered in a light to portray him as a christian now rather than what his past is and what his actions indicate.
There is no background required to hold office. To be good at it, all you have to do is show up and vote against everything Harry proposes. What's so hard about that?
Maybe you would like her to have drowned a woman? Evaded taxes...who knew you had to report income from renting? Run a male escort service? Bankrupted Barny fanny's big mac?
Background smackground...sheesh.
Anon, 10:58,promulgate mean, wow, I've got to get back to studying my vocab. Just kidding, the point is you can relate to the Middle-Class and its needs or you can't
Promugate this, "We need people in office that can work with other people in office so we can get things done." Now please go forth an 'Promogate' oops I spelt that wrong, darn!
No thanks...I would prefer that nothing "gets done" unless you are talking repeal and or cut (and I know you're not.)
The better point is, you either recognize that market forces, although ugly and heartless, are more reliable and better than the forces of government. Or you don't. You either recognize that the only hope of getting government to be accountable and respond to the needs of its citizens in the least, is to keep it as local as possible, instead of concentrated in Washington. Our forefathers new this and recognized it and produced the constitution to bring it about.
You need to recognize that the only thing worse than being exploited by capitalism and the free market...is not being exploited by capitalism and the free market.
You may like Greece and Ireland, and think it is Utopia, but I do not.
Anon 12:15 PM Color me confused and pomug....
