-Patty Plate appears to have a green light to get her name on the ballot under the Taxpayer Party moniker alongside Carl Paladino who is running on that line for Governor. A review of her nominating petitions puts her over the top....Senator Darrel Aubertine had challenged the petitions but came up short.....Ritchie had sought the independent line after Aubertine got the Independence Party designation.
I don't know if there is concurrent litigation on the matter. If not the matter is resolved in her favor.....
-Congressional hopeful Matt Doheny says he will get his Mom's porch steps painted before winter. Two Hotline callers had criticised Doheny after seeing the peeling paint on the now famous commercial featuring Mrs. Doheny.
-Doug Hoffman supporters are doing a good job at writing letters to the editor and calling talk shows on behalf of their candidate.

Who cares if paint was peeling?? Sad how some people look for ANYTHING to complain about and to use as fault. Sad.
Look at the source and then look at the people who are amused by comments like this..I agree Brian its very sad...
Very sad ? Its humor...a chuckle...a smirk over the ludicrous things candidates say about each other....That's how I read it.
I think ths "sad" thing mayor is that while most of us would view it as funny and such, there are those who will actually try to use this against Matt. Thats the sad part.
I may be a registered Democrat, but I was glad to see Patty win her case. These tactics by either party, is no good. If the politicians think they are the best, prove it, on the playing field. Enough of the pre-games,( starting to look like professional sports)
I was thinking the same thing about the paint.I thought it was a great thing that he sat down with his mom though,he is getting her involved good for him he sounded like a real person when he called your show today.Not some wanna be Glenn Beck with radical views.Ray I saw the same thing you did just have better things to joke about...

Just saw Hoffmans buddy Dick Army talking about how they wanna do away with social security.He said he wants to make it a persons choice weather or not they get it.Talks about 2% of the people in the country that can do it on there own the rich conservative cry babies that are running scared there pockets are getting a little dent it makes me sick.They have no clue how stupid they sound selfish...It was on WPBS 16.2
The BOE will make their decisson but we know Senator Aubertine will challege it again in the courts. He feels his seat slipping away, the Indy line was sold to the highest bidder but the Taxpayer Line can not be bought.

5th wheel on a double date. Wwe screw around with these side issues like it's The View or something, but I still haven't heard a reason to vote against Owens. No Hoffman or Doheny by himself will bring the needed change; they'll just be a peon for a senior legislator from the Big Apple.
