Sarah Palin may run, but it’s not clear how - Ben Smith - POLITICO.com

Sarah Palin is not spending the next 16 months travelling around Iowa talking to groups of a dozen activists who enjoy seeing candidates for the highest office in the land grovel before them......
So it is unlikely she will run for the Presidency in 2012. But she is coy about it all and like many of her machinations, she perhaps sees an alternative way to the prize other than the grueling, many are called few are chosen path through Iowa and New Hampshire.
But even if she doesn't run, she still is the straw that stirs the drink in the GOP and will influence the process.....
If Barack Obama taught us anything its that the traditional strategy of "waiting till its your time" doesn't work and holding off till 2016 may mean life has passed her by....
I think she takes a pass on 2012....but not till after a long period of speculation and cogitation that will her the title of Hamlet of the Arctic.

Hopefully not. Palin, like Aubertine, is simply not intelligent enough to hold public office.

Palin is not qualified to be dog catcher.

cogitation and Palin in the same sentence is very very funny. She would refudiate that, of course.

Lady with some great views and great leadership, but not the best candidate for president. Look to those like Mitt Romney to take the reigns in 2012.

She also quit halfway through her term. That's just what we need as president, a quitter.

The Govenor of the largest state in the Union is an idiot, doubt that is true.

She was the biggest factor in why McCain lost. Even in the dark days and weeks following passage of obamascare, polls showed she could not beat Obama if the election were held then.

Don't get me wrong...i think she wold make a much better president than Obama and she is smarter too, but I don't think she could win...ever.

The Palinator wants it so bad she can taste it. Alas... she won't get so much as a whiff. Sure, they lover her to death in Tea Bagger Heaven, but in real America she's looked at the way Katie Curick looked at her during her interview. "Are you frickin' kidding me?!"

Having dimwit Palin at the controls of the largest nuclear arsenal on the planet, along with her unshakable christian belief in the endtimes, is about as scary as it can get.

Not as scary as having Obama, Nancy and Harry in charge of our national checkbook

Ever watch the Katie Couric interview?

You Obama haters never manage to offer an alternative fix to the economic problems we are facing. You complain about unemployment, but you also complain about Government Motors. Letting GM go belly up would have eliminated over 2 million jobs immediately. Then what?
You never bitch about the banks though. The big banks (too big to fail--too big to fail means too big period) and the way they extorted TARP funds from the BUSH administration was a joke. Berneke is a former Goldman Sachs CEO. The problem is that the banks are hoarding those funds, which never made it to the marketplace.
I know that facts don't stand a chance when you are prejudiced against a political party, but I am posting anyway.

Hey 9:11…do you know what extort means?
It was the majority democrats in both houses that passed TARP and put the control of TARP in the hands of one guy (who was not part of the Bush administration)
Too big to fail is an unproven concept…AIG should have been allowed to fail.
AIG should not have been allowed to get as big as it did, but it was only possible with the deregulations enacted by the Clinton administration.

GM could have gone through a normal bankruptcy and landed exactly the same as it is today. Except for their recent purchase of an auto-loan company modeled on the failed subprime real estate fiasco. Oh and without the giant payoffs to the unions.

The banks hoarding funds does not affect me as I am a member of the credit union. How is it hurting you? The reality is that the banks and Wall Street did not have prudent cash on hand prior to the crash and now they do. Like the regulators were supposed to be making sure of all along.

The reality is that companies do not want to grow because if they get more than 50 employees they get banged for hundreds of thousands in OBAMACARE FINES. They do not want to take a risk with their assets and cash-on-hand because any profit they make will go toward the “what’s wrong with spreading the wealth around” philosophy.

Give is rest on Palin... it ain't gonna happen (God forbid)!! Her and her family's interests are making money not serving in government, which they say they hate so much. You figure out that irony!!

who is she taking the country back from-Americans? BY the way, Palin may have been gov of the largest state, but that state ranks 47th in population, and 50th out of 50 in population per square mile. Less than 700,000 residents to get oil checks for (is that socialism?) doesn't exactly make her a genius.

Dannie, telling us to give it a rest on Palin hating. The world has come full circle. Brilliant.

Palin was a half-term Gov. she quit in mid cycle.

Dan....you put a community organizer in the White House....Don't throw rocks when you live in a glass house.

Wow! This is really educational!
Palin quit as governor? I never new that!
AK is the biggest state but has a small population? I never knew that!

You know who else is a quitter? Obama. He quit his job as a state senator of Illinois.

I am beginning to wonder if you are paid by the Palin blog police. She finished fifth in the Values Voters straw poll..although she was favored as a VP candidate.
