Buffalo Wild Man Carl Paladino plans to launch his Panzer Divisions this week in a last minute Blitzkrieg designed to wrest the GOP gubernatorial nomination from party designee Rick Lazio.......
The outspoken Paladino continues to amaze a media used to political correctness and pols who wouldn't say sh-- if their mouth was full of it.
He is seen as too crude by the state's ruling class, but that won't stop Carl from spending his own millions to , as he says, "take down" this government.

I'm not saying THIS guy has a chance but you keep repeating how Cuomo has this one sewn up and it makes me wonder how we ever got Pataki if it is such a sure thing for democrats?
Cuomo won only after years and years of dysfunction and huge spending and tax increases. We haven't had enough tax increases for people to turn against the Dems, yet. And too many people are getting their bills paid with Donkey borrowed money. We love it.

If Carl means what he says, then do it. This state gov't. needs to be knocked down a peg. And enough of this "donkey" foolishness. Say what to hell you mean. Show some guts. Niether party is an angel, but as long as people vote party lines, it will be the same old game, no matter who is in charge; Go to the bank on it. People need to vote whom they think is the best person, regardless of party; then maybe things will get better.
Rick you are so right.. People are now getting in that mode but it takes time.. The donkeys and elephants have ruled for years and people are intimidated by the ole party leaders. If we could just get a few with guts to introduce legislation to either have term limits (which would be next to impossible) or have elections for these offices every two years . That way we could keep score better and replace A--holes when they dont work for the people who put them in office.
People like Owens/Pelosi Doheny/Sczzaffa Shelly/Aubertine Ritchie/Skelos need to do their part.
Well Rick man, that's a lovely sermon. And I realize you have a background as a government employee so its difficult for you to say the words. But the Donkeys are the ones who run the show. They're the ones who have built this monument. Sure, there are Elephant thugs, but not many. They haven't had power in this state for a long time. I know it hurts you to say it, but the Donkeys own the house. If you want change, those are the ones you have to vote out. You're the one who needs to show some guts. This isn't a bipartisan train wreck we live in.
924.. Think about your history. Pataki was empowered for about 3-4 terms. Dems hold the assembly and elephants held the Senate. Taxes rose substantially during those years. Pataki focused on Laws and appointing judges which affected the working people of this state for years to come. The GOP put this state in a state of disaster but now that the donkeys have control its all their fault..
9:24, you are the kind who dodges responsibilty, at the voting booth. I wasn't preaching a sermon, and I certainly was not a butt kisser for the government; I spoke what was my heartfelt , and I spoke it too all, the same, no matter whom; I guess that is why middle management tried to silence my speaking to the top management. My point is, in order to get our government back in order, we need to vote for the people whom we believe will do this best job, regardless of party affiliation; get away from these party lines, That is what sucked us into this god-forsaken hole to begin with. It is not about donkeys,or elephants. It's about doing what is the will of the people.
We spent like fools when we could get away with it. Not smart, but understandable. Now we can't get away with it, and we continue to spend like fools. And you want to go back a decade and blame Elephants. So be it. You guys are useful idiots. With this kind of reasoning there will never be a reason to get rid of me. And that's fine for those who have already retired and those who are close. The rest, well, they be in a bit of trouble.
