Now Andrew Cuomo is refusing to back his own team...at least for now...When asked about AG candidate Schneider and Comptroller Candidate DiNapoli, Mr Cuomo demurred...
I think the reason is simple...He really doesn't support them...At some point he will bow to convention and endorse them, but the hesitancy is telling.

Could it be because Schneiderman and DiNapoli are corrupt Albany politicians?
Schneiderman will close ranks with Silver, and help him continue to steal from the people of NYS. Cuomo wants to be Gov, he wants the power for himself. Can't blame him. If Cuomo is elected, Shelly will continue to run the state, Schneiderman will have an office under his desk, and the Gov will be Gov in name only. Life will continue to be good for the people who have had it good in the past.

Wouldn't it make more sense that he does not endorse them for fear it might hurt his own chances of winning the election? If the country is in the mood to toss democrats then it makes sense to distance yourself from democrats...even if you are a democrat. kind of like the SNL skit last election when Bush kept putting his arm around McCain and endorsing him and McCain kept pulling his arm away.
