Andrew's Campaign is the Way to Do It

While his principle opponents argue over the Mosque, Andrew Cuomo continues his leisurely RV tour of upstate...This week it was the scenic Finger Lakes where he and his three daughters took in the sights and got the feel of the state up close.
This is as good as way as any to campaign...spend time with the family and bide time until Cuomo's likely election in November.

That Women's Museum visit was really neat. I hear its only open during campaign season, which was why little Andy was forced to go this time of year. Cool. Fashionable.

Hey Mayor, a little off topic but maybe you can respond or write a blog post about this. Please tell me what is up with all of the murals downtown. On Newzjunky I just saw a photo of an "artist" painting a mural on the fountain in front of the old Empsall's. This looks terrible, almost as bad as the mural visible through the old Woodruff Hotel lot. These murals make downtown look like a scum hole. What happened to the class that Watertown's downtown brought to the city from years past? These murals of weird bright colors, swirls and abstract "modern" designs make the places look like graffiti by some rebellious teenager. Maybe you could post something about this because I am pretty sure I am not the only one who feels this way.
