Most retirees (except the 'real' private sector types), but with most retirees associated with government normally get anything in betwween 35% - 75% of their active "salaries" in their retirement checks.
So, I have to wonder if someone is getting $100,000 or more in retirement, what the hell their active salaries were? Or is that asking to much about those connected to government in a round about way?
Ah Dan, they're entitled to everything they get. Everyone is entitled to everything they get. Whenever we question anything for anybody you always say that. You say they "earned" it. Why question this? Whether it comes to time off, sick time, health benefits, family leave, retirement benefits, or job security. Teachers and government employees win in every category. You have always supported this imbalance, so don't start crying about it now.
