From the fair and balanced department, this missive.....For all the attention of late to the GOP race for Congress in NY23, its worth noting that the current Representitive....Bill Owens has been out and about as well and is slowly solidifying support and making friends in the massive eleven county district.. This weekend he held a town hall meeting and while many still do not know him, many more do compared to when he grabbed 49% of the vote in winning the seat last year.
There has been a lot of talk of late about it being a Republican year.....but often its the Republicans telling each other that....This is a very competitive race with three candidates who all have their own attributes. Anybody who tells you today he knows who will win is blowing smoke.

I wouldnt dare predict something unsure like this.. It appears however that Owens will win with Hoffman then Doheny in that order.. That is just based on grassroots thinking.
Owens is intelligent, conscientious, well-informed, and classy. Sounds like he'ld be a good lt. governor candidate. Better surely than any state lawmakers.
Nope, it'll be Owens winning, with Doheny and Hoffman splitting the vote of the people who might be flexible enough to not vote party line. Pelosi wins.
So Owens is going to tell us how well he has done in the areas of job creation and health care reform? One hasn't happened and the other we have no way of paying for. This is brilliant stuff.
But like a previous poster says, he sure is classy..
Unlike the GOP canidate for the position, Owens has no ties to Wall st and dosnt owe them nothing. Doheny is a little like the owner of the Dallas Mavericks and will spend all sorts of money with the rules or against the rules to get what he wants.. I cannot call that classy..
