Rick Lazio is finally saying something....and its about likely Democratic gubernatorial nominee Andrew Cuomo. The effort to compare Mr. Cuomo to Eliot Spitzer in terms of temperment and ambition could stir the pot a little. The fact that Cuomo and Spitzer both came from the AG job and are aggressive political animals is true....Ultimately though, don't people want someone who can tame Albany by sheer force of will ?
I do think it valid to rap Cuomo's lack of apparent agenda or platform, but so far lack of specificity has not hurt him....As for Lazio, he continues to poll no better than his GOP rivals, and Steve Levy so far has been more outspoken on the need for radical change in the capital. The third candidate for the GOP is businessman Carl Paladino who also has a pointed, 'mad as Hell' message.
Andrew Cuomo is a bully just like Eliot Spitzer, GOP governor hopeful Rick Lazio says

A Lazio moment - shameful...
Like waving that pledge in Hillary's face in their debate in Rochester in 2000... it will not go over well...
Lazio owes his "fame" to Giuliani's defective prostate. Some kind of help, eh, Ricky?
OAG Cuomo is no bully to the ethic issue surrounding wind projects in Northern NY. he refuses to rule on know issues that his Syracuse office uncovered. Guess he is looking for the unions to support him, as well as as all those big law firms like Nixon and Peabody. More shameful greed form the extreme left in or State. We give away US$40 million in tax beaks for eight jobs at Galloo and the US Government through in another US$375million -- Andy knows where the big money is - he won't bite the hand that feeds him. He is not qualified to lead our state, unless it continues to swirl down the toilet, then he and his friends can go along for the ride.
Actually Dannie, Lazio was such an underdog in that race I don't blame him for trying to shake things up with his challenge to Hil. The moment might have been bad but no worse than you calling Republicans racist.
Since Hill was elected Senator, things have gotten a lot better for NYers. So I guess we made the right decision. In your case, you probably got lots more free stuff than you would have otherwise. But most of your free stuff comes from the feds so it probably wouldn't have much of an effect on you. This is just a partisan deal for you, right? Anything that ain't a Donkey you hate.
