Most of us just lament the unfair treatment Palin has received by the lockstep media. I can see you feel the need to follow along. So be it. I don't think Palin is the answer to everything, but a lot of what she has to say makes perfect sense. People are getting fed up with government.
One of the definitions that Merriam-Webster assigns to "politics" is "political activities characterized by artful and often dishonest practices". That being said, Dowd's writing about the hierarchy of the Catholic Church covering up and turning a blind eye to physical and sexual assaults on children is politics defined.
