And where does this lady go to get her reputation back..or do we just accept that notion that like OJ Simpson, she really did it but just got away with it through a "technicality" ?
In this case the judge dismissed the case, which means it was really weak..

It sounded like an open and shut case for Nicole Duvé given the amount of legal precedent for this type of matter....leave it to her to screw it up.
I read it as though it was weakness in the charge . She was charged with offical misconduct rather than rape, assault, whatever. It didnt fit the charge.. Your right leave it to Nicole Duve to screw it up. But in this case I belive prison officals and first line law enforcement probably the Sheriff screwed up rather than the DA. She just overlooked the issue until after the fact. Same difference... Just another reason in a long line of reasons to cut staffing at these prisons and shut down the un-needed ones.
Can we have Nelson and Vaugh charged criminally. They have been screwing us in Ogdensburg for years without our consent.
I guess if you choose to have sex with an inmate and you get nothing from it, it is ok. Then again you may end up with hepatitis A, B, or C, AIDS, TB, Scabies, HIV, or possibly pregnant. To me it would compromise both security and non-security staff ability to do their jobs effectively and fairly if they became involved with an inmate. It is beyond my understanding why anyone would want to jeopardize there job and life.
The Federal Government passed PREA (Prison Rape Elimination Act) to prevent employees from having sex with inmates, even consensual sex. There must have been a loophole because it sounds like she had sex on multiple occasions. Good work on her lawyer’s part, par for the course for our DA and Judge.
Ever think possibly she didnt do anything wrong? Without good and credible witnesses I certainly would want to have my word taken over a felon. As far as Duve and Richards the big trial on Oxley will show what they are all about. Oxley pleads to lesser charge and does time served or is aquited.. bettcha
Wasn't her office the "special prosecuter" in "Gas Gate"? they screwed up that also.

That's where a guy stole a bunch of gasoline from the taxpayers and the Sheriff, Mr Burns, turned over records of the crime to Duve's office and they didn't have a problem with him stealing the gasoline. I guess he didn't steal enough to matter.
