The Tea Party movement is not pleased with the health bill passage and they may not have been pleased with their own attack on state Senate candidate Patricia Ritchie. The controversial post lambasting Ritchie for not being attractive enough has been dropped from the blog of the Oswego County Tea Party.
Pulling the sexist swipe at Ritchie was the right thing to do as this kind of statement only undermines the causes that led to the formation of Tea Parties.

Some folks in the comment section attempted to suggest the anti-Ritchie screed was the work of staffers for Senator Darrel Aubertine,whom she is going to try and defeat this fall. I don't buy that assertion as to do so would be juvenile, unprofessional and incredibly reckless as disclosure would force the Senator to dismiss anyone involved.

Perhaps Annie Leibovitz would give us a deal since she has tax problems.

It really has nothing to do with her looks or her photo. Forrest Gump was right "Stupid is as stupid does."
How can you just blindly say that no staffers from good ol' BFW DA could possibly be behind that blog? Did you not follow any of the Senate elections the past four years? Talk about dirty tricks...on both sides I might add to be fair. But I think it's a little naïve for you to completely dismiss the ascertion that Drew could be behind that blog. Who else had those video's and the ability to research some of that info? Cort Ruddy, the mastermind behind the Dem Senate campaigns...that's who.

Well let me put it this way...If faux blogger pages were created by DA staffers and those blogs appear to represent the Tea Party movement and those blogs are written so as to bring ridicule the movement by presenting Tea Party views that are erroneous...Well if that conspiracy played out, I do believe some people need to seek employment elsewhere.
I don't happen to believe it happened that way...Maybe I am naive.
I do believe that Aubertine(Mangione) is behind that site. Some of the videos, music and info shows definite signs of being operated or at least contributed to by political operatives. What better cover than to operate as a Teaparty website.
Mr Grahm, I visited the war room during the special election Aubertine VS Barkley over at the marcy building they had adleast 20 computers going, yes they do things exactly the way the poster above is talking about.I am not to happy with the with the way the Tea party movement has gone about things its almost like they are the hate movement.Oh ya,seen good old Ed doing a steak out in front of the Renzi firm about 4 months ago wonder wht that was about?We would all like to believe that these things that you call juvenile and a waste of time were not going on,they are.It's a We to a They.You know how it goes who ya kdding.....
Juston, spot on as usual here. I too am a former DA supporter who just simply cannot continue to sit by and watch this state dwindle. I like DA he's an everyday guy who I liked better than whoever the GOP was putting up. However, times have changed and I believe that the Democrat leadership in Albany has truly failed all New Yorkers. I'm going to make some hard choices this year and I think I can see Ritchie giving DA a tough run.
I did just check out the link you provided Mr. Mayor and I have to agree that I've seen some of the assundry things that Senate Dems have done over the years. I wouldn't put that website past them and if it was truly a tea party website, they never would have taken down the "sexist" post as you ascerted.
