Albany blowing budget deadline - NYPOST.com

The good old days are back in Albany and that means no budget April 1st. In the end, look for tax hikes and massive borrowing as the Legislature will not be able to say no to the groups who fund and ensure their reelection. I see it being a long summer.

Whats new, did anyone expect anything else.. GOP or Democrat no difference.. We need to group together and start voting these folks out of office every four years or so.. You know term limits only we set them as we know they wont.. Taxes always go up somewhere.. Senate and Assembly as yu stated owe to much to everyone who puts them in office

This budget will be the effort of two men in a closet. The Democratic senate leader will have a hard time finding the closet, and Silver will lead the way. It is sad we have one of the most inefficient governments in the country and one man (Silver) controls how NYS is managed.

You predict June for the budget to pass, I think that is an early prediction but with it being an election year they will have to push something through the legislature.

Passing the state budget requires cutting school aid, but New York is willing to bypassing the 700 million in school aid from Obama. New York Teacher’s Union does not want Obama money it might create some Charter Schools in areas were public schools do not make the grade. We think not of the kids that suffer from poor schools, but only to preserve tenure and control of the legislature by the New York State Teacher’s Union.
Enough said.

Chaos has and will continue to reign UNTIL we have the fortitude to vote out EVERY incumbent and take back OUR state

At the helm the Democrats with nobody else to blame, but themselves although they have tried sacrificing their own several times.

927 - vote out every incumbant...good luck with that. Have you talked with anyone below Westchester about doing that? Unless you have candidates to run in NYC against the entrenched downstate Democrats then why throw out our guys?

It's an easy slogan to say, but a much harder thing to lead.

what about someone to run against the entrenched upstate Repubes. as if the've got a great track record. it was they that expanded all the great EDZ welfare give-a-ways under Patooki and reme, mber the "coup" last summer? brought to you by the Repubes! this isn't just about downstaters. look at the upstaters, dems and repubes alike running to save a prison that should be closed in Ogdensburg. all panderers- no statesmen, especially the upstate Repubes.

259 - vote out all Republicans...yeah that makes sense considering how well the Democrat's have treated us with their Majorities in Congress, Senate, State Senate, Assembly and Governor's mansion.

Yeah...let's get rid of all the Republicans...smart move MORON.

Just look at the picture (the capitol) this is what's wrong with Albany it's archaic and broken, it needs to be fixed, but not by the folks that are there now.

9:18 am; I agree with your perspective of our state of affairs, with the budget.I might add that the Democrats may be using the prisons issue as a ruse, for giving more money to the teachers union. I have talked with insider CO's who seem to know about the political game going on.Keep your eye on this budget issue.

King Shelly will give it to you all. And you all deserve it. Me, now I'm just an innocent govment employee. You be tax payin' idiots. Oh, and 2:59 is right. Uh, hem, uh, duh, vote against the uh, Republicans. They're the real threat.

It never ceases to amaze me that this can go on and on and on.

Thanks from the bottom of my heart.

Vote Donkey.

2:59 you should go back and get your GED. The Democrats have a program for you. I am sure you know all the programs.

That is why the upstate Democrats are working with all the Republicans too keep OCF open.

Vote Donkey and say good by to Northern New York. Go back to the city.

So Poly in perpective you are saying that in order to have any chance we should replace the Donkeyss. Yet yo say the upstae Donkeys are working with GOP. Clarify why I would want to replace the upstate Donkeys.

Nope, I don't think anything or anybody should be voted out. Everything is just right the way it is. Last year's 10% budget increase was just about perfect.

1:37 I love ya, bro
