-Did Evan Bayh betray his party and his President ? That's the question Democrats are asking after his decision to not seek a third term. Senator Bayh's departure means a possible loss of a seat in Indiana. Mr. Bayh is also a man who was troubled by the current spending frenzy and the need to continue vote for the economic lunacy of Harry Reid and Company.
-Senator Kirston Gillibrand is clearly annoyed by the candidacy of Harold Ford Junior...but its clear the party poobah's including 2009 NYC mayoral candidate Bill Thompson are backing her. Party chairs are falling in line. It will be more and more difficult for Mr.Ford to break through, especially at the convention in June.
-A Democratic insider I talked to today said it in unclear whether Andrew Cuomo will ever pull the trigger. Governor Paterson shows no sign of stepping aside for Cuomo and trying to take out a sitting governor will be increasingly difficult for Cuomo.

The NYS Dems should give up three blocks of 25% each to two or three candidates in order to trigger a primary against Gillibrand, otherwise they are the party of un-Democratic processess ...
She needs a primary... the people deserve a primary.
"economic lunacy"?- you mean like preventing another great depression after eight years of true "lunacy"? your infatuation with Palin has turned your brain into oatmeal.

I think that the Mayor is speaking of Lunacy like proposing to spend trillions of dollars to have the federal government provide health care to people when it is a duty that the state government should have (which reminds me, how is mandatory health care working in Mass?), spending billions to bail out banks and the car industry (again, nothing in the Constitution about propping up businesses), and Obama considering going back on his campaign pledge not to raise taxes on anyone making under $250,000.00 (here's to your hope and change pal).
Ford doesn't have anyone's support. Btw, what the hell was he doing on Meet The Depressed?? What kind of clout does he hold to get on that show?? And, Cheney, too. Earth to Lord Vader: your 15 minutes ended Jan. 20, 2009. Is Meet the Depressed so hard up for Wonks that they fall all over themselves to get Cheney?? Ford?? Rachel should be hosting that show! She has more smarts and gravitas than everyone else in the room combined.
Not good, Evil. Take a deep breath.
