NEWS 10: Radical Left Goes After Tea Partier Erik Dunk

A Camden New York community organizer has complained to Harley Davidson about the electronic scrolling sign in front of Iron Block Harley Davidson in Adams Center. This time its because owner Erik Dunk posted a message critical of the proposed health care plan. Dunk says the health bill is unconstitutional and the complaint just another effort to stifle his free speech....A complaint last summer led to a rebuke from Harley headquarters.
Dunk is active in the Tea Party movement.

why is it OK to have an Obama-thon on cable TV that I have to pay for, and I do not want to see, but a man cannot express his free speech on property he owns. What has happened to America. Can't even say in God we trust anymore -- after Obama/Pelosi/Reid are done with their Socialism project what will we have left (funny how the sentence ends in LEFT). This message is from a registered Democrat -- I have had enough with our Liberal movement to make America weak.

Why won't he learn.

I didn't know that Harley Davidson has taken a public stance on health care reform. I hope it doesn't affect their sales.

If you watch the clip, you'll notice that Pelosi is misspelled too. I love that.

Maybe this article is right and teabaggers really have declared independence from spelling. :-)

hey 5:33PM, you're probably choking on Dunk's tea bag.

If Mr. Dunk would post a message on his sign board about the horrors of BFW (big foreign wind), this loose wristed lefty liberal will kiss the tailpipe of his pink Harley!!!

Also, what justification is there for calling the complainant "radically left" or a "community organizer"? As much justification as there is for calling the individual mandate unconstitutional, maybe?

If legitimately qualified constitutional scholars can't even agree on it's constitutionality (google "individual mandate constitutionality" and read the differing opinions among them), who do the teabaggers think they are to publicly declare that it is not? That's the problem with the teabaggers. Not only do they have delusions of grandeur and believe themselves to be qualified Supreme Court justices, they also misspell their opinions as fact.

Question? Does Dunk give all his employees and their families health insurance. Or does his employees just suck it up when the get cancer or have a stroke?

what kind of jerk would use his business's sign to call into question the religious faith of anyone, let alone the president of the united states?

and what kind of buffoon would write a blog post in support of him?

A "jerk" with many more balls that a man/woman/transgender than you, Kelmert. And the "when will he learn" idiot. Lots of backbone shown there too. When does a guy saying what he believes become a problem? You folks must be scared to use the bathroom without government approval. To live in such fear must be chilling experience, for you and your family. Dunk deserves credit for speaking out for what he believes. Many businesses, Ben and Jerrys ice cream, Google, hell NEWS corporations like NBC, use their platform to preach. Just because you run a business doesn't mean you have to give up your right to speak. Wiley, try not to be so afraid. If Mr Dunk was supporting your Great One, you'd be such a proud mouthpiece. Now your just a typical fearful fool.

Balls and backbone are no substitute for a brain. Teabaggers, with their desperate crys and claims of unconstitutionality, socialism, death panels and Nazi Germany, are the "fearful fools". If not that, then they are just cogs in another neo-conservative fear machine, drumming up another batch of manufactured fear to be used for political gain.

All Us North Country Folk should get Our Political advise from Mr Dunk. After all He has been such a good role model throughout the years.Next thing We will see on His sign is the statement "Hugs are better than drugs"

Anonymous. Please go back and read my post a bit more carefully.

There is no objection on my part to how Mr. Dunk uses his sign. In fact, I suggest he put up a statement pointing out that one of the sweetest bike rides, the Seaway Trail, in the United States is about to be crapped up by thousands of windmills.

All by foreign developers using your government welfare money, of course.

Obviously, you have not read my opinions. You see the name "Wiley" and you go ballistic with rage. You should visit my blog some time.

Tea Partiers ride pink Harleys

Oh, it's back to windmills, Wiley. You have too much time on your hands. The Tea people bother you guys because they no longer are afraid to speak their minds. Now that you folks mention it, you would have been perfectly comfortable living in 30's Germany. You're the kind of scared, nervous little twerps who wouldn't have said a word then either. Not unless it was politically correct. You would have fit right in, Wiley.

These Tea boys are quite a threat. I'd be ssssscared too, Wiley boy.

instead of insults, why not keep your message on the destruction of our economy?

Anonymous said...

I guess it's a matter of whether or not a teabagger is brave and noble for standing up to a perceived enemy, like Don Quixote stood up to the windmill. Or, whether their signs and cries are good indication that they are scared, crazy, borderline illiterate and reacting to the propaganda that they are fed by Beck, Palin, Limbaugh, etc.

My money is definitely on the latter.

Hey 8:26 the only difference is Ben&Jerry's is owned by the individuals who are preaching, HD owns the Bar and Shield, It's funny a few weeks Eric Dunk was on the hotline, the subject of Public Monies being spent, nothing was said by Dunc about the hotel next to the river that received a large amount of Govt. money to start the project.

The only reason Wiley and other elitists go nuts is because they don't like what this guy is saying. He has been reduced to a follower. He has his own future set and he wishes all to remain as it is. The Tea People scare him.

As far as the "destruction of the economy" is concerned, I'm not sure what that poster is trying to say. Most cowards are only concerned with their own economy. That's why we have government spending on the state level rising at a 10% annual rate while our kids, unless we're well connected, leave in droves. We don't care. We care about ourselves. Screw the economy. It's the same with all that environmental bs. We don't really care about that either. Global warming my ass. We really really care. Just don't build anything around ME. Unless of course I profit from it personally and greatly. The only green I care about is my own, eh Wiley?

Huh?

Anon. you are operating on a vast background of ignorance. You don't even know me and obviously you have not read what I write. Come to my blog. Read what we talk about there and use your own name when you post. I assure you, you will gain the respect you wish for. And, I will be the first to shake your hand.

I have little interest in hanging with people who are constantly afraid of differing viewpoints. You're a politically correct as it gets, Wiley. That means you're a coward. I'll stay, as you say, independent and ignorant.
