The point man for Big Wind and the man trying to bring errant lawmakers into the barn is a Cornell and St. John Fisher grad named Robert Bergdorf. He is the sole face for Big Wind and the only point of contact for bureaucrats, media and lowly lawmakers in the current dispute. He looks young and photogenic and is listed as a general partner in the firm of Nixon Peabody.

Mr. Burgdorf is also known for conducting workshops on how to deal with locals who resist his economic advances. One of the slides he uses in his power point presentation depicts the resistant natives as carrying pitchforks.

What is your point Mayor? You have a paid mouthpiece at City Hall that is a "SLYE" character, and he might as well be running the city. You can't make a decision without his blessing.
This Burgdorf guy is the Attorney for the developer. It is his job to support and represent his client zealously. Seems to me that he is only doing his job.
So once again what is your point?
It is also to make sure he gets as much of our tax money and put it right into the developers pocket. Anyone that votes for this polit doesn't have the residents of Jefferson County in there best interest!!!! A yes vote means in 2011 you must go!!!! Barry and Ken kiss your senate and assembly chances good bye. But on a good note your war chest will be funded well with a yes vote.
A yes vote from Jim St. will cost the City of Watertown $4 MILLON in sales tax. 3 out of the 4 city reps are a no vote. Jim is the union more important then the city residents??????

At the theater in Lowville, NY, Big Wind has a short film on the advantages of wind power on the tug hill. Wonder if they'll still show it now that Maple Ridge hasn't paid it's PILOT.
