In their top to bottom review of the State Senate, how about turning the institution upside down....Sen. John Sampson has proved no more adept at ending dysfunction that former Majority Leader Malcolm Smith. Having Espada as part of the leadership...even if in name only....has done no good.
How about a decent,straightforward upstater like Darrel Aubertine for majority leader....These NYC guys are too marinated in the clubhouse politics of the five boroughs. It won't happen and the current dysfunction will continue.

And what are the chances NYC Democrats will support an upstate mjority leader? I would say about zero.

How about Addie Russell for speaker! Now that's a joke worth laughing about! But then again..not really...she's totally in Shelly Silver's back pocket! Her votes against sportsmen in favor of microstamping, in favor of gay marriage, and in favor of taxes and fees (other Upstate Assembly Dems voted against them!) show why Addie is Shelly Silver's lap dog!

Talkin' "leaders"...the Gov says the charge for new plates is dead. New plates will be issued after the current supply runs out but there will be no charge. Guess that makes "Patti Plates" something of a leader eh? At least she listens to the people...more than can be said for the make believe farmer huh?
