Jefferson County GOP to Voters: Vote Hoffman

Jefferson County's newly minted GOP chair sure didn't expect this mess when he took office. His Congressional candidate is seeking the Judas award by dropping her race four days before balloting and now endorsing Democrat Bill Owens. Chairman Donald Coon, who is hosting the party's election night party at the Paddock Arcade, now says local Republicans need to reboot and support Conservative Douglas Hoffman.

This member of the Jefferson County GOP will be voting for Owens and telling everyone who ask me who to vote for now.

The GOP: killing and eating their own - now: what to do with the remains?

Jefferson County GOP to Voters: Vote Hoffman OR ELSE. I can't think of a more opportune moment to decide not to be a Republican anymore and start voting for Democrats. Dede has the same views of the world that I have and she is not welcome by the party, so why should I vote for them. Reagan's big tent policy has now become the camp ground toilet, where idealistic demigods can flush away anyone who doesn't march in lock step with them. How sad is that?

It's time for Coon to step down.

He already stepped down once this year. So he knows how to do it.
