DeDe on Pearl Street

The powerful come to Pearl Street....Tonight, when I returned from the Zoo To Do fundraiser at the Flower Library, I was pleasantly surprised to see Assemblywoman Diedre Scozzafava and her husband Ron were at Fort Pearl.
Ms. Scozzafava had just finished a day of festivals and parades in her bid to win the vacant 23rd CD.
I burdened her with advice, let her put up a lawn sign and gave her a check....That's what you are supposed to do....I gave it to Ron, because the candidates never like to touch the money.
I like my next member of Congress to visit the lonely precincts where average people gather and cling to their guns and bibles.
DeDe liked my standup of Sarah Palin and the photo from the Auburn visit.
I think she realized this was not an ACORN tavern.
She told me she is attending the Tea Party in Plattsburgh tomorrow......That's good....Ron even said he watches a little Glenn Beck from time to time. Maybe these folks aren't as doggone liberal as Mike Long says.
Let's hope so.

What is the most important issue in the 23rd Congressional District this week?

It could be which team do you support in the EFL Championship Game next Saturday:

Watertown or Plattsburgh?

She's a liberal through and through.

I think abortion is legalized nurder. But it's a dead issue. Abortion is legal and not about to become illegal in our lifetime. The bigger question is, has Deede lived up to her Oath to Uphold and Protect the Constitution? Yes she has. Are Owen and Hoffman going to? I don't really know and no one seems to be asking them. I would like to find out before making a decision to vote for Hoffman over DeDee. Her record in Albany may not be perfect, but it isn't all that bad either. Politics is as such that you seldom vote for a candidate that totally satisfies you. You close your eyes and pull the lever that stinks the least. We voted for "change" in the last election and it is turning out to be one rip-roaring mistake. Let's be careful not to make the same mistake in this district. The sad thing is, the Bozo's running the republican party in this area could have avoided all this stink by holding a primary and letting the voters decide.

My understanding of the law is that a special election has to ocurr within 30 to 40 days of the Governor's proclamation, and that a primary is not permitted. That is why it is left to the party poobah's, for better or worse.

Ms. SCOZZAFAVA IS THE PAST, not the future.

SHE IS AN OLD, TIRED, Albany insider who is PART of the PROBLEM . The good ole boyz and girlz in her posse want her to protect their gravy train .

We who pay the bills deserve better ideas and a fresh perspective
