THE REAL REASON AMERICANS ARE ANGRY - New York Post

Here's a different take on the MSM notion that the racist, gun-toting teabaggers are just mad at the new regime because they want to cling to their PBR-induced rage over a life and country slipping away from them.

Yes, the key word is not just government (too big or too small); or helping or not helping (and/or how much). This key phrase is the story:

" ... bailouts of failed institutions ..."

Failure is not all that bad: not trying and failing is pretty bad though. Worse: seeing or sensing failure and not even trying to correct the wrong.

The GOP tried to correct a wrong, the wrong way.

The DEMS saw that failure, but are taking advantage of applying too much help ($$$$).

Both were wrong and the results seem to speak for themselves... that is not good leadership - it's opportunism gone amuck

* With little regard for principles or consequences = we call it poliitics as usual and it is. Until we change the people in office, or the kind of people seeking office, the outcome will be the same - it always is, IMHO.

so you think that the margin Obama won by is a mistake, and you prefer to acknowledge the minority view. majority tends to rule in this country, except when there are corrupt pols and outside influences like wind agreements. who cares if tea baggers are angry? who cares what the Post writes about? the tea crowd had reagan bush bush (gingrich) long enough. the war money collected by Carlyle group hasn't ruffled any feathers yet. wonder why. I expect this post to be deleted, like some others here.

When the GOP regained the majority in 1994, they initially acted like and governed like a brand new majority should, "We won, get over and now let's do what the people told us to do." (sadly, they seldom reached out the DEMS - that was their downfall).

Harsh, perhaps, but when you win big, you must govern big, not nasty or arrogant (like the GOP example after that 1994 landslide), and not like the DEMS did after 2006, and certainly not like now: after 2008.

The majority must reach out, then if that fails, and the hand bites are more than the hand can tolerate, then move on without the roadblockers ... get things done and at the same time, remind the voters who the roadblockers were - and in the current case right now? It's the GOP.

Obama won because Mc Caine is a Looney-Tunes. I said it before and I'll say it again, Socialism is an easy sell as long as everyone thinks the Donald Trumps of the world are gonna have to pay for it. Once the public discovers that the Pres.'s idea of the Donald Trumps of the world are any one collecting a pay check, then the howls begin!

99% of America has no idea what socialism is, unless you live in Alaska and got an oil check from Socialist Governor Palin. (share the wealth, right?)(like the tax deals in Martinsburg)
