It's Relaxing to Be A Little Less Important

Had a nice chat with Senator Aubertine today. I called him to say he made the right choice for himself, his family and the 48th District.
He seemed at ease and as I told him, guys our age don't need to be jumping into that kind of rat race.
Best wishes to the Senator and his family as he pursues his efforts on our behalf in the NYS Senate.

Well put mayor, people can say what the want about him, but he is a true family man, who definately cares about the people who he represents. Let the naysayers start the attacks.

As of 10:00 last night, the Republicans were still running their anti-Darrel advertisements on local cable TV.

Has anyone told them yet that Darrel has decided to stay home and take care of Northern New York?

I think he made the right choice
lets see how the DCCC acts now,
I'm sure that they won't cut De De
down or say negative things about her.The nasty stuff is on both sides,Darrell has done some things that have earned respect from me I was not one of his fans.Gay marriage stance, trying to make the Bloods and the crips come together
Hopefully in the coming year he will have something worked out with these crooks from national greed my power bill is my 1 concern
Winter here is fun but realy costly.

They placed the TV buy and hungry broadcaster are likely unwilling to make refunds on pre-paid political ads. Money is money.

Special Elections are really about the Media Recovery Bailout.

The Aubertine-Barclay Race spent over a combined $5 Million.

Newzjunky started an expensive banner ad at the top of its news aggregate for Barclay. It worked. It remains.

Radio and Television were filling spots, too.

Newspaper campaign ads were abundant.

It is hard to sell an idea using negatives.

The present anti-Aubertine Congressional Ads demonstrate how wasteful an early negative campaign can cost, and appear.
